- Q: Ok, here is the deal. I had worked at this lawn care place for 2 weeks and I fell off the back of a truck and injured my knee. I was out of work for just over 3 weeks. - Within the AHU ther are whats called Dampers a device that is designed to stop the spread of fire normally on the air intake side of the ahu as opposed to the extract side of the system. The BMS is where the system programming is and there are many variations of different logics and situations. Simply you will have a smoke detector of some kind in the AHU, and when smoke is detected it sends a signal to the BMS and closes the Damper and / or the Air intake Fan. - These are made to repair sections of pipe. One end fits into one side of the pipe, and the other end slides over the other side of pipe. Start by turning the water off, and then cut the pipe so there is space to slide the slip fix in with glue. Then with glue, open the slip fix so it slides over the other end. Good Luck!

- There should be dielectric nipples at the heater , if not that can cause some problems (electrolysis) , if the well pump or pressure switch is shorting or passing a small amount to ground it can shorten the life of your pipes drastically . I have replaced some galv. pipe that didn't last very long (about 6-8 months) . The supply house had gotten a batch that was from Mexico they replaced the bad stuff and I had to eat the labor but I kept my customer happy . The China pipe is worse about the galv. coating being to thin or of ?? quality (it too doesn't last very long) I have seen the welded seams not welded . The cost of copper has gotten ridiculess and so I now use Aqua PEX or Dura PEX for most of my water lines. I suspect this plumber may have lost a customer over this as you are asking .

- Personally I would have used a compression fitting myself because the brass ferrule ( the little ring) actually bites into the copper tubing and is virtually foolproof. There is more of a chance for rigid tubing stretched by flaring to have stress cracks because it isn't meant to be stretched into a flare. Having said that, as long as it doesn't leak currently you should be fine, just keep an eye out for dripping which would be the forerunner of a failure that you feared in the first place.

- if it is a copper pipe it might be loose in the fittings, if you really do not have the moneyfor a plumber, try using plumbers puttyaround the leak make sure the area is dry, plumbers putty will not stick if it is wet, or, duck tape it, good luck, let me know if this works
