Q: I want to build shelving in a trailer that is strong and lightweightIf I use square (or rectangular) aluminum tubing what wall thickness would I need for a shelf that is 4' long and needs to hold between 600 and 800 pounds?
The wall thickness is secondary to the actual size of the tubingI would guess you would need about 3 tall and 1 thick1/8 wall thicknessThe htis the most critical part.
Q: How to do with damage in aluminum foil packing for lithium battery?
It is recommended to disuse the battery, because it may explode or catch fire. Currently the maximum capacity for mobile phone battery is about 2000MA/H, so the capacity of 5400MA/H is exaggerating. However, it is not easy get an extra copycat battery.
Q: What is the best way to cut a 100% perfectly straight line on a 10 inch long paper without messing it up?
We used a rotary-style paper cutter when I was a photographer in the NavyIt was much better than a chopper-styleNice, clean, straight cuts Without running out to buy extra equipment tho' I would have to say yardstick/razor knife/prayer is your best optionRemember to pray because the knife is very sharp and will likely cut into the straight edge, even one made of aluminum (I've done it), leaving you with a less than perfect cut and a damaged rulerPlus, there's the possible slip/jerk/bump/shift factor unless you clamp the stick downI think if you NEED the cut to be 100% perfectly straight, look into a rotary paper cutter.
Q: Tinfoil is not aluminum foil Why do people call it tinfoil when they mean aluminum foil?
tinfoil was around before aluminum foil and old habits die hard.
Q: How do I find the number of moles? Help, please!!!!!!
First, understand what a mole actually isThis is just a number chemists use to express weightThis many atoms of any element equals it's atomic weight in the periodic tableAluminum has an atomic weight of 27 grams/mole and Bromine is 80 grams/moleMolecular weight is the sum of atomic weightsNext, study chemistryIf you do, you will know Aluminum has a valence of 3 and Bromine has a valence of 1What this means is an Aluminum atom can bond to 3 Bromine atoms, making the chemical formula of Aluminum bromide AlBr3The molecular weight of AlBr3 is 27 + 380 267 grams/mole Having gotten this far, it is rather easy to see 15 grams/(267 grams/mole) 0.06 moles AlBr3FYI: working chemists round atomic weights which is perfectly acceptable in the real worldHowever, chemistry class is not the real worldLots of instructors will deduct points if exact atomic weights are not usedFor example, the exact atomic weight of Aluminum is 26.9815 grams/mole.
Q: My son likes to eat these organic vegetarian burritos (Amy's, Cedarlane) for his school lunchesSo every morning, I put the burrito in the microwave wrapped in a paper towl to cook it and then unwrap the burrito and rewrap it in aluminum foil to pack in his lunchBut the paper towels have been sticking to the burritos and one of two things happenEither he has to deal with a burrito with paper towel shreds fused to it or a burrito with huge chunks out of the tortilla making the rice, beans, etc spill out everywhereDoes anyone have a solution to this problem?
I would suggest using Deli Paper Sheets or Parchment paper, it won't adhere like paper towels do but serve the same purpose without all the little shreds! I use them for reheating stuff in my microwave all the time because I have the same problem that you ran intoHope this helps you out today, Happy Memorial Day!
Q: Is it safe and effective to use aluminum foil as a container for long-term food storage?

While aluminum foil can be used for short-term food storage, it is not recommended for long-term storage due to several reasons. Aluminum can react with acidic or alkaline foods, potentially leaching into the food and causing a metallic taste. Over time, the foil can also corrode or become damaged, allowing air and moisture to enter, which can spoil the food. For long-term storage, it's better to use containers specifically designed for food storage, such as glass jars with airtight seals or high-quality plastic containers. These materials are more stable and less likely to react with the food or allow contamination.
