Q:Can plastic tubes be used for pneumatic valves?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for pneumatic valves. Plastic tubes are commonly used in pneumatic systems as they are lightweight, flexible, and offer good resistance to chemicals. They can effectively transmit compressed air or gases to control the opening and closing of pneumatic valves.
Q:What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the medical industry?
There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in the medical industry. Firstly, plastic tubes are lightweight and flexible, making them easy to handle and maneuver during medical procedures. Secondly, plastic tubes are transparent, allowing healthcare professionals to monitor fluid flow and detect any blockages or irregularities. Additionally, plastic tubes are biocompatible, meaning they are unlikely to cause any adverse reactions or infections in patients. Lastly, plastic tubes are cost-effective compared to other materials, making them a more affordable option for medical facilities.
Q:My two young female gerbils are chewing on the CritterTrail plastic tubes I have connected to the cages. They have tons of chew toys, food, and space. I've placed two toilet paper holders in their large nest area. It's helped a little, but they still chew on the plastic tubes. Which is VERY noisy, and I don't think chewing on plastic is good for them compared to natural wood.
No matter what you do, I'm afraid they're not going to quit chewing until they're bored with it. I went through the same deal. What I suggest is take them out and place them in a pin of sorts and place different objects (that you don't mind being chewed on) in the pin with them. Try to get them to find something they like more than that. If not then hell, you tried. It won't hurt them eating the plastic dear so don't worry about that. They don't always eat natural wood anyway they prefer, well, whatever they can get their paws on :) Good day and good luck
Q:What are the different shapes of plastic tubes available?
There are various shapes of plastic tubes available, including round, square, rectangular, oval, and triangular.
Q:What are the different sizes available for plastic tubes?
Plastic tubes come in a wide range of sizes, varying from small diameters such as 1/8 inch or 3mm, to larger sizes like 4 inches or 100mm in diameter. The available sizes depend on the specific application and the manufacturer's capabilities.
Q:Has anyone tried to get inside those plastic balloons that come in the tubes?
surrrrre wtf are you talking about?
Q:2001 mustang
All intake tubes are just simple tubes. They perform all the same. I have cheapy intakes on my Civic and they work great. The reason short (cold) air intakes work is NOT because they are engineered well. NO! It is because the original air box were so restrictive - due to noise restrictions. Just make sure you DON'T get metal tube intakes. The get heat soaked and significally warm up the air. The intakes make of PVC (or plastic) gets warm but will not release its heat to the air as much. === If you really want performance gain, you should also do the header pipes (if the mustand did not come with factory pipes). Long time ago, people most did exhaust header pipes only. Besides the intake is artificially RESTRICTED by the butterfly at the throttle. So the intake only makes a difference on WIDE OPEN THROTTLE acceleration. Good Luck... P.S. Just make sure you get intake pipes DESIGNED for your car. Otherwise they would expect you to some customizing like cutting and drilling, etc.
Q:Today I just got a 10 gal. Fishtank to connect to my gerbil cage.. I connected them with the plastic tubes but she refuses to go through them. Why? And how can I get her to go through?
Try and place some seeds in them so she sees that their is no danger. And put some things from the first cage into the second one so it smells like something familiar.
Q:I can not find what they are called or where to buy them... Seems like painting the wine glass is the easy part... But I need to know where to buy the cylinder tubing that stores sell novelty wine glasses in...
I would go to a hard wear store or home depo and have a look in their plumbing area, some crafts stores may still sell it as well.
Q:We currently use round bottom glass test tubes on our automation but suffer a large dead volume. We are looking to find a supplier of low dead volume glass/plastic test tubes to trial
That's an unusual question. MANY years ago (50 or so) when we used to run a lot of pregnancy tests by utilizing Leopard Frogs, we used to use V-bottomed test tubes to spin down the sediment. Frankly, that's pretty much the only example I can remember where we used them. But I would think that they are still around. I would suggest you contact a laboratory supply house or two or three, and ask them. They are much more likely to be able to give you an answer than us geeks on the Yahoo medicine board. The stuff I used 50 years ago might not be around anymore.
