Q: I got mine done this morning, and like the dumba** I am, I got it on the side that I sleep on. A friend of mine said she slept on hers the first night and didn't hurt and it was fine, but I don't believe that to be true. If I have to sleep on my other side, I could but it's very hard for me to fall asleep like that, and I often switch positions while asleep unconsciously. Any tips?: Unless you take it out, there isn't much you can do. To help me fall asleep (I'm a side sleeper btw) I lie on my back, close my eyes and stay super still. I don't think about anything, just picture all black. I breathe in and out slowly, holding my breath each way. I usually fall asleep no problem that way. You will probably turn in your sleep, you will just need to see how it is tomorrow I guess :)

Q: So I have 2 paws on my wrist and had my belly done years ago as well as my ears. Now im interested in getting a scaffold piercing but ive been told it hurts, a lot! im not too botherd about the pain cause I know there will be something good at the end but can you tell me more?: Didn't hurt that much. The only part that sucks is the fact that you get done with the first hole...and you think to yourself it hurt but was it wasn't that bad. Then you realize wow he's not done he still has to do the second one. Before you know it your done. I clean my industrial at least twice daily, and I have yet to get an infection though. What I do is Sea Salt Soaks in the morning and night. I put a little emu oil to advoid hypertrophic scarring. and I have kept my hair up every day since getting it pierced to make sure my hair doesn't irritate it while its still in its early healing phase.

Is it a similar pain to lobe peircing? Also how long does it take to heal, until you can take it out and sleep on it?: For me, I'd rate it's pain level at about a 5. Just all depends on how well you tolerate. It's more uncomfortable than getting a lobe piercing, really not that similar. Mine took about about 6-8 months to heal for changing the jewelry, but took like maybe 2-3 months until I was able to sleep on it again. Good luck if you get it.
