Q:i know they are meant to be done as one piercing and with one bar to reduce the risk of them not aligning properly but is it possible to have it done as one piercing and then replacing the bar with two separate ones after it has partially healed. is there still a risk? also, how low down and at what angle should the bar be?thanks x: They can be done as two separate piercings, and it is up to the piercer and the shape of your ear to decide if something like that will be done. However, I would not recommend it, because even if it is partially healed, putting two separate earrings in can still misalign the piercing when you go to put the bar back in later. I would recommend keeping the bar in, it's a guaranteed way to make your piercing work out. Besides, once you get used to the bar, you won't even know you have it in! Much easier than keeping track of two separate earrings and making sure they still align months down the road. As for the angle, it depends on your preference and what is able to be done due to the shape of your ear. Some people want theirs straight across, others want a much steeper angle. It all depends on preference and shape of ear. Hope this helps, good luck!

Q:I Got my scaffolding piercied 3 weeks ago i think or 2 , and school starts soon and im doing gcse pe :| loool i need to know how i can hide it ? and if i can just put tape over the balls will they care about the bar in the middle? please help me haha would it be easier to just wear clear balls ? because then im not actually taking the piercing out so it wont get infected or anything?: Have you got long hair? Tie your hair in a loose ponytail at the bottom of your neck, without putting any hair behind your ears. This is what my friend did for work, it worked for her. The reason you can't wear jewellery in school is 'health and safety', so just having clear balls won't make a difference. Can you get a clear TFT bar as well as balls? that would probably help hide it. Best of luck!

Q:how long sould you wait to dye your hair after getting a scaffold piercing?: I'd leave it until its fully healed. If it isn't healed then if you get the dye in the holes it can make it infected. I had a cartridge piercing and dyed my hair and it got infected and I had to take it out and now I have a big lump on my ear. Q:I've had my industrial piercing for about 6 months, about 2 months after I had it done I thought it was healed and stupidly changed the bar to a cheap on I bought off ebay. BIG mistake I know, it got infected and I was put on antibiotics. It's been healing well for about 3 months now, but how long roughly will it take to fully heal?: It depends on different people. It takes quite a while for industrial piercings to heal, it can take from 3 months, but usually it takes about 10 months to a year to fully heal.

Q:im quite high up so would have to do the job internally (from the inside..avoiding climbing on roof). it seems that a material (looks like cement?) was used on this old roof (on the inside) and some of this has washed away as i can see daylight where the rain water is leaking through. there's also no black felt evident: You cannot repair any roof from the inside. Whoever did that internal patch was a hack.
