Q:We're having a pretty casual reception. It's at a hotel (Hilton), and we're having a band. It's a fun band; not the $10,000 wedding band I wanted (before I found out the price!). So, will it look too formal (out of place) to have chair covers w/ sashes? Otherwise, maybe just an overlay and nice centerpiece on the tables.

My wedding had 32 guests TOTAL! And that included me and my husband. However, we did get chair covers. Our tables (overlay chair covers) looked exactly like the black and white themed ones on your link. I'll tell you what...it made a world of difference!!! My mother was skeptical of me getting chair covers, so was my fiance, but after I got them and we all saw how beautiful the reception room was, it was SOOO worth it! They both apologized later for doubting me. *laughs* If your father is the one paying for the covers, look around your area (on the internet) for a good priced rental company. Even those (home-based) companies. Just make sure you ask them questions like (delivery fees, pick-up/drop off, ironing before delivery, etc. etc.). If anything, show him the link below so he gets an idea of what somehting as simple as chair covers and overlays can do to a room. Also remember, that he is a guy and paying for the wedding, so he may be a little frugal at times and not really understand decorating. I know my husband didn't get it at first. But I'm sure if you show him the effort of you getting prices from different companies, to save him money, he'll take more consideration.

There are lots to choose from online: specifically made for youth, for orthopedic issues. I would ask the spine doctor you see, if you do, or go to your local pharmacy. They have catalogs and chairs on-site for you to try out and price. I put Orthopedic chair in Google and got lots of hits. I know it's best to buy it from a local store, but if there is a guarantee return policy, you'll be able to return it if it's not the right chair for him. My Mom had a similar problem, and I was shocked by how few businesses in the health care business, knew anything about chairs--even chiropractors and physical therapists? good luck.

Q:every time i go to sit on a chair in my loft my cats sitting in it all strait with this creepy grin on his face lol he always does this why.i could i understand if he thought it was comfortable but he sits in it straight so hes not really laying down and why does he have the creepy grin on his face lol?

Maybe he likes to feel high up. Or maybe, he just likes it cuz u sit there. Remmember, cats have personalities too, he mite just like it cuz its comfortable or it reminds him of something or he feels home sitting on it, or he likes to feel on top. Haha cute cat!

Q:I bought a kitchen table set about 2months ago and for some reason every night it starts to creak. i looked around the chair trying to find a cause but sure enough it was coming from a leg of one of the wooden chairs i took the leg off and noticed a crack in the leg, the creaking stopped immediately. i put it back on and every night since it starts to creak first one creak every few mins to one creak every second. i tried to think of explanations like maybe a bug burrowed in the leg but that's not it. then i thought maybe air pressure or something but then why is it always at night and why is it in a pattern either two, three, or fours creaks then a pause then two, three, or four more. this is so weird someone help

Get rid of the chair it is haunted. Just kidding I bet it's just a manufacturing error, you should call the company and explain the situation, be stern. They should refund you. :) or you could get it checked out by a priest if you are worried it is haunted ^_^

If it is a Knoll chair it should have a tag or label on the bottom. If it does not have a label, it is probably a knock off, but still a really good looking chair! You could always try to contact your nearest Knoll Furniture dealer or representative in the area, and speak to them about how to authenticate it and find out when it was made.

I highly recommend a space saver high chair, the convenience and the versatility alone it makes it worth it. If you have more than one eating area it's nice to be able to switch it from chair to chair or to use it on the floor even. It's less expensive than full size chairs, stores easily and transports fairly easy as well. We often take ours to friend's houses or to grandma's, it fits on a seat in the car.. it's nice to be able to take it with you so not everyone has to accommodate you.. Like a parent who may watch your son once in awhile. It cleans up nicely and the fabric back comes off to throw in the wash.
