- Before hooking that up, check the specs on your motherboard to see if that fan header will support loads from both fans. You may need to get a Molex to 4-pin converter and power directly off your power supply.
- Q: The computer is a Hp compaq.So I took the connector out of the computer but left it in the power socket.When I tried to reinsert the connector I hit the metal back panel of the computer and it made contact so I was wondering what is the part(s) that is likely to be broken?I want to know it so I can replace the damaged parts.Thanks in advance of your help.

- Q: i want to run a power cable from my battery from under the hood to my trunk for a amp that i want to power. i have a 94 mercury cougar. and i have seen it done under the car and through the firewall into the cockpit, if i want to run it through the firewall which way do i put it through? can someone send me a link to a pictured instructions? or just tell me how? thanx
- if you run the power line in the cabin, run it on the opposite side of the RCA cables you are going to run from the deck to the amp. This will reduce any magnetic interference caused by current in the power line affecting the signal source.

- Q: I don't do a lot of stuff like this, so I'd appreciate some information about how to do this: basically, I'm trying to route a coaxial cable from outside into the house. The cable is outside, and needs to go through the outside brick layer, then through the wall itself (through insulation?) then through the drywall (through a new outlet plate too).Any suggestions about how to go through the wall with a wire? I'd even appreciate a link to a how-to site as well.Thanks.
- A drill with a concrete bit (large enough to pass the wire, but smaller than the grout line(( cement between the bricks)). Try to determin where the studs in the wall are from the inside of the room and transfer to the outside. Drill a hole in the grout, then change the concrete bit for a long wood spade bit of the same size and drill a hole straight threw the wall. Leave the drill bit in the wall and attatch a small wire to the bit point with tape and pull back to the outside. Then put the cable onto the wire with tape as befor and pull threw the wall. Install a remodlers electric box and cover plate. Hope this helps Mike

- Q: I just finished building my shed, I put a 1 1/2 inch conduit under the shed coming up into the corner. I am now about to dig the 65 foot trench back to the house. I need to run power, not a problem. I want to run a phone line, a network cable, and a cable wire for my satellite. I say shed but it is 12 by 20 feet with an attic. Can I run these additional lines in with the power. I was thinking about using a run of Shielded cables for the network and one for the phone. For the cable some heavy duty quot;I don't know what thoughquot;. Will the power lines mess the data up on them? What will work for the three if any. If I need to I could run them in a new conduit, but that is not cheap!
- if you run you power line with any other line the phone company will take you out in the bush and shoot you. you must use two different conduit pipes.

- You might want to get these at a local computer shop though or you'll pay more for shipping than you will for the wire itself. I would suggest the 1 SATA to 3 SATA seeings as we already know you have SATA power connectors.
- Q: My Xbox 360's power supply cord is very loosely connected. I've tried to push it with force, didn't go further. Games lag a bit (GTA IV, for example) at graphically expensive situations. Simplier games like Limbo and Worms run without any problems. - It's not possible to drop voltage as you said. It's either connected, or it's not. The power won't wain. It just won't work at all if not properly inserted. But if the power cord won't seat properly in a brand new console, you're still under warranty. I'd get it replaced if I were you..

- There is no direct benefit for the operation of the speakers by upgrading to a 750 watt power supply. The amplificatiion power is external. Only a small relatively small power signal is delivered by the computer
