Q:i have to plaster a plasterboards?
Were you drinking when you asked this?
Q:All the gypsum board joints are cracked what is the reason?
This crack is a normal phenomenon! Construction process may be a problem! Gypsum is not scraping too thick? If it is good material should be gypsum scraping thick! If the local is not a small amount of cracks are a natural phenomenon! And whether you use natural light to see if your top surface is flat with a ruler or other straight tool to see if the straightness is flatness flatness is the standard! If not standard is a small work! Generally very few gypsum board cracks! As well as just renovated Do not rush to open the window ventilation to plaster and white latex paint the best dry! Now can only repair the Kaifeng with a blade to remove the plaster cast under the gypsum sanding under the sandpaper in the brush under the brush it! Local brush must have color difference

Q:I have just put plasterboard up in my kitchen, covering the walls behind my sink and cooker. I was going to tile behind said areas, but then didn't know if the adhesive would affect the plasterboard?Should I consider some sheet material like MDF which has a tile effect routed into it to drill on top of the plasterboard? Or maybe some vinyl tiles to just stick on top of the plasterboard?
I think you'll be fine tiling over the plasterboard. Some friends of mine put up plasterboard in their kitchen with nonails glue and then tiled over it. It's still there. And nothing has fallen off yet.

Q:I need to repair several plasterboard walls that have holes with plugs left in them. What is the quickest / easyiest way to do this
What do you mean, plugs? Do you mean the screw anchors ? If so you need to try and get these out or at least take a knife if they are plastic and cut them off. Then Spackle with a soft putty than can be found at WalMart or any hardware store. With a puddy knife try to keep it as smooth as possible, let dry and sand smooth to the wall. Do a second coat untill the wall is totally smooth. Then paint.
Q:The top room in my house has got a ceiling in pretty bad shape. The house roof is ok, but over time the pressure has created a myriad of small cracks. Filling them up one by one is a huge job, so I have two choices: 1) apply a new plasterboard to the ceiling. 2) re-do the ceiling, take off the old one and put a new one.1) sounds an easier solution, but the builder wants to do 2) to avoid cracks reappearing. What would you recommend?
If your house is old, like mine, then the roof beams may not be substantial and are more prone to bending under weight. That will just contribute to the plaster cracking so option 2 would be better. The upside is if you put in big enough beams you would be able to floor the attic for storage. If the existing beams are man enough then screw new plasterboard onto beams without removing existing plaster.
Q:How can I best cover up or disguise where the old strip lights were? Will new artex be the same colour as the existing? Should I consider repainting the ceiling?
ok considered the %. what you have there's a capacitor, it style of feels to me that once you undid the terminals for the incoming furnish it dropped out, this is with the help of the fact its linked around the L & N of the provision connector strip. it rather is going to artwork without it, its commonly used function is to offer up radio interference.
Q:Ordinary gypsum board specifications
There are 2400mm × 1200mm, there are 3000mm × 1200mm. Thickness of 9.5mm, 12mm, 15mm, and so on.
Q:I am making a model that requires me to shape, paint, and glue something that will represent small stone slabs (1/2 thick). I do not have access to power tools. I need to cut out unique shapes and then sand them down considerably to make a dome. I was thinking about plaster board but the material I need does not need to be that sturdy. I basically need something between plasterboard and styrofoam (if that makes sense). Any ideas would be appreciated.
How about polymer craft clay? You can get it in craft stores (like Michaels or Joann Fabrics in the US). It comes in a block and you can easily break off or slice chunks to the size you need. It comes in a range of colors (or can be painted when dry) is easily shaped and rounded (no need for tools or sanding) and once you have the shape you want you just bake it in a low oven (275 F for 30 minutes) and then you can paint the pieces if you like and glue them together. It's pretty cool stuff. I just made some miniature props for a movie out of it. Might not be an option if you need a lot of it but you did say this was a model.
