Q: After I take showers I usually change in the bathroom because the bathroom door has a lock on it and my room doesn t. I recently started using my old iPhone 4 to record my room while I take a shower because I caught my brother looking in my closet(The phone is hidden behind some clothes in my dirty clothes hamper). I played back the video when I was finished changing and I saw my dad opening drawers and looking under my bed. What do I do? Should I confront him?
Part time 4wd is what is considered standard 4 wd. In other words for years the transfer cases used a standard system that locks the front axle into gear giving you 4wd capability. It is to be used on slippery road surfaces, offroad, mud, snow etc. When this selection is used on dry paved roads, the drive shafts, axles and universals bind up because the front wheels cannot slip a bit, especially when you turn. You have part time only 4wd when you have a shifter that has the 2H, 4H, N, and 4L selections, in later models this was the NV 231 transfer case (Command Trac), although earlier models used a different trans. of various models. Starting in the late 80's (Im almost positive), Jeep offered the NV242 transf. case that offered the above selections along with a 4 full time and a 4 part time selection. This was the Selectrac and allowed the driver to run full time 4wd on paved roads or wherever without causing the driveline binding (4 full time selection), or you could select the 4 part time notch and stay on slippery surfaces only. Part time allowed for a bit better traction and pulling power, but also came with drive clutches that can wear out inside the transfer case. My wife's 2001 Grand Cherokee has this option and has given no trouble. Good Luck!!!
Q: Ok we are looking to buy street bike helmets and i have seen people ride around with these cool looking visors that have a Design on them and you cant see in but they can see out just fine. I was wondering what they are called any websites that sell them?
Trash it, you will always know what was there. Covering it up does not change it. Even after you remove it, wouldn't you still be able to know what had been removed? Of course, this is a conscience matter, and the choice is yours.
Q: I just got a new job at safety swim as an instructor in a pool. I'm in the pool for 4-5 hours 4 days a week but i change out of the wet bathingsuit as soon as i can. Do you think that i'll be more likely to get infections because of this?
Neither one of them answered your question. InnerA would be locked but if you access it from outside of that background thread just keep in mind it's not thread safe.
Q: I have a chem assign where I have to make a container out of anything but it has to keep an ice cube from melting for like a week. . . any suggestions?
No, don't bother, my smoke detectors go off too, when it's hot. I basically take out the batteries, and wait for the next day to put them in, otherwise, they could go off again. If the fire department comes out you'll wake everyone up, and it will be hours before you go to bed.
Q: Ours (the one in the building's hallway) goes off randomly. When we first move in the first time I heard it I figured something was wrong. After finding out they go off once or twice a week, I don't worry as much. But there's times where it'll go off,the stop, a few minutes later off again, and agin. I was wondering if the ones complexes put in does it if one in one of the apartment goes off or it has some type of timer. After it going off numerous times last week the fire dept came and nothing was wrong. Next day the building got a warning of tampering.
Yes. Call A tech. Call heating co. not gas co. The gas co. is known for turning off the gas in till fixed..or charging outrageous prices per hour to fix .. HVAC co.can fix it faster and easier if the gas is on..If gas was spilling into your house ,i would say open windows leave and call gas co.THAT IS NOT YOUR CASE.. Your problem is the furnace shuts off gas You can try to clean the thermocouple in the Pilot flame .. or tighten the small bolt at the end of small copper tube running out of gas valve to the pilot flame sensor(thermocouple).
Q: My mother in law just bought a new car and said I can take her Viper alarm off of her old car before she sells it.. I need an alarm for my truck so I want to but I'm not 100% sure exaclty how to do it.. Do i just trace the wires and just re-connect the engine shut off wire? Any help is appreciated. I have about a week before she sells it.
WowIts a 1/2 pipe and am I the only one that thinks of a compression fitting? If you go to HD pick up a compression shutoff. You will need exactly 2 wrenches to put this on. A compression fitting works by way of the piece compressing a copper ring to seal it. It is VERY simple to put one on - It has a nut on it as well as the copper ring - 1) Simply put the nut on the pipe first (it just slides on to it) 2) Slide the compression ring on the pipe 3) Slide the shutoff on the pipe 4) Hand tighten the nut onto the shutoff (it will still slide up and down until its tightened) 5) Take one wrench and clamp it onto the body of the shutoff and take the other wrench and begin tightening the nut. You will know when its good when the piece (shutoff) doesn't move. This requires virtually -0- experience and I am certain that you can do this. Btw - after the unit is tightened down make sure to shut the water off at the new shutoff that you just installed B4 turning the water back on.dumb, I know but I gotta say it.
Q: I am having my contractor install a gas powered fire pit in my backyard and am supplying the material. My question is can I use schedule 40 stainless pipe and stainless fittings instead of the standard galvanized pipe? I never want to dig a 30ft. trench two feet deep again and feel like I won't have to if I put stainless pipe in. I am not worried about cost because I can buy the pipe at cost and the $100 difference is worth the labor savings.
There is an electrical part of the lock cylinder for those cars. It is part of the factory anti-theft system. Some lock cylinders come with the switch attached to the new part. Others have to be transferred from the old part. Are you sure this happened.
Q: A couple summers ago I was riding my motorcycle home from work wearing a helmet, tshirt, shorts and some nikes and I realized how stupid I was so I bought a jacket and some cloves and such. Anyway I'm still buying more gear and I'm wondering if it would be worth buying racing grade gear. Are spine protectors necessary, or full body suits. I don't want to be all stiff every time I take the bike out but if it really makes a difference I would do it.
hahahaahahahahaahah you make me laugh :D
Q: I have a fire extinguisher box that is missing the breakable glass panel. I need to know if I can get replacement glass or do I need to buy a new box.
What I would do is take the door panel off and put the window back in the track where it is supposed to be. After you get it back in there use a little bit of silicone spray lube on the track so it will slide up and down easier. Make sure the guides aren't bent because the window will come out again. Good luck.
Q: i use a serger at school, but it's really old and it only overlocks the raw edges. i want to buy one for home use, but do they come with the feature to sew a seam too? if so, does it have a specific name that i have to look for?
