—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

- Q:i need to lcut a circle 36x36 inch on floor tile thats about 1/2 inch thick. can dremel cut this? thanks
- Depends on the exact type of tile. Some porcelain and other hard bodied tile you ll burn the bits and possible the motor itself. If it was a smaller area you had to cut out, it would possible work. Some satillo tiles you could do this with some extra bits , since they are a softer bodied tile. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
- Q:How are these tiles differ from each other and how to identify these?
- There is a plain clay, usually red called satillo. These are usually unglazed and need to be sealed. There are reddish and orangish in color . Red bodied tiled is what you call ceramic. These are made of a red clay and you can see it in the body of the tile. These are glazed over to create most of their hardness. There are 2 types of porcelains. These are generally the harder but even these tiles vary in hardness and brittleness. This type is what is generally sold as a porcelain tile. Very good in quality usually. This is the type of porcelain that is usually sold as porcelain. These are glazed ove to create their color and look. True porcelains, you can see the color of the tile go all the way through to the bottom of the tile. More costly because of this. - Q:What‘s the difference between tile mastic tile adhesive? I was told to paint the wall w/paint primer first then use tile adhesive rather than tile mastic to apply tiles on damaged green board around my jaccuzzi tub for a quick fix. The green paper peeled off when removing the old tile exposing the brown cardboard stuff.
- Mastic is a glue, an adhesive. It is used for wall tile, but not in a shower. Thinset is a portland cement based product that is used on floor tile and for any large wall tile application or if a wall tile is going to be used in a high water area like a shower. I answered your second question on your other post.
- Q:We recently had new porcelain tile installed on our guest bath floor, and we‘d like to clean it regularly without harming the tiles and grout. The tile installer had no recommendations about this process, nor did the tile company where we made the purchase. Researching this info is very confusing. Some sites recommend using only a wet mop, while others claim that vinegar diluted in water is appropriate; others advise using some type of manufactured cleaning product. We know that regular sweeping is necessary, but we‘re unsure which products to use to protect our new floor. If you suggest a wet mop, please advise which is best: Shark, Eureka, Bissell, etc. Thanks for any detailed advice you can provide.
- The number one thing to assist in keeping your floor clean and the grout is a tile and grout sealer. the best one ive used is called 511 impregnator by Miracle Sealents . It is a polymerized silicone which means it seals the pores of stone or tile but also lets it breathe if moisture wanted to come up from below. Other sealers are a coating which down the line could actually trap dirt. After you seal the floor you can poor water on the surface and it will just bead and not sink in to the grout or tiles. you want to apply it maybe once evry six months and they also sell a tile and porcelain cleaner which is a mild soap. - Q:I am planning on laying down tile in my dining room and kitchen. I recently saw an offset pattern with 12x12 tiles and liked it. I‘ve now decided to go with the same offset pattern but with 20x20 ceramic tiles. Would I still have to find the center of the room and start tiling out from the center or can I just start at one wall and go from there since i‘ll be using the offset pattern? Thanks in advance.
- Not always so with an off set pattern....Because when you start from center on a normal square pattern and you end up w/ a small cut along the wall, you can re center the tile in the room to get a better cut along the wall. Doing this to an off set pattern , won t change that small cut on 1/2 the rows.. It all depends on room lay out and your site lines.. That I can t answer you. Now if you start in the center and do get a good lay out on both sides, then by all means, center the tile.. If you have a long site line on one wall, which is very visible, and cabinets or something different on the opposite wall to break up the pattern, Then you may consider going off that wall w/ a 1/2 tile along that wall..
