1. For Glazed Floor Tile, is the 45*45 available?
—— Yes, 40*40 is available. Based on the actual market demand, we could also supply 45*45 and 50*50 accordingly.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is one 20’ container. For models whose production is arranged frequently, 2 or 3 models could be mixed in one container.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: My wife sent me to pick up some used floor tile. It still has the stuff (plaster? grout? whatever?) on the back of the tile. Can this be reused? Do I have to get the old stuff off? It is on there pretty uniformly.
- Yes it can be re-used, and thin set, or latex based mortars can be removed,,,with caution. I'm doing remediations constantly at one job site in a building prone to flooding. I have an ongoing part time career with 11,000 sq. ft. of tile.The tile used 2 years ago is no longer in stock, but continues to POP due to ground level water seepage. I use a Diag. Grinder, with a tile cutting blade, cut out grout, lift the tile, flip it, grind down the thinset to a reasonable level, and re-install. The bad news is the job is tedious. The good news is that the job is tedious,,, smiles. It saves the current floor however. Certainly, aside from safety precautions one might expect, the tile is fragile as well, and unless you have more, than you will use in this purchase which I always manage anyway, on a job site, by no less than 10% for waste, etc, You may find that treating the old tile as if it was a fresh egg is your best way to proceed. - Q: I have a few small pits (about 1/16 in diameter, very shallow into the tile) that have developed in some old ceramic tile in my foyer (it may be from some salt that was tracked into the foyer over the winter). Is there a good way to repair it?
- I would try 'tile and grout sealer. These products are easy to apply and once dried are very hard. Go to your home supply store and look at a few different types and see what would work best for you application. Most people don't understand that tile needs to be sealed and re-sealed every year or two, especially in high traffic areas and where there will be a lot of dirt or water track across them.
- Q: My new home has a kitchen with glazed ceramic tiles covering most of the walls.The colour is basically honey brown, but there‘s a hideous purple border (in the same tile size shape) running horizontally vertically all over the place - I‘d say that 20% of the tiles are this colour.I want to reduce all the tiles to one (new) colour.Two guys (both pros) have this to say:GUY 1: Cheapest solution (and least noisy/disruptive) is to use a ‘glass enamel paint‘ over the tiles. - Just my 2 cents. A couple of months ago I saw a bathroom with painted tile and it looked really different. It looked really cheap. I think you would be disappointed if you spent the time and money to paint the tiles.

- You will have to chip out the damaged ones and replace them. After you grout be sure to apply a grout sealer. These links will give you some guidelines.
- Q: and didn‘t seal the floor or grout. Now they are dirty, how can I clean them so they look new, then seal it? I have grout sealer, do I need to seal the tiles also, they look to be sort of porous?
- I made that mistake in my kitchen. Rent a steam cleaner to clean the grout...it works really well. The tiles don't need sealer, just the grout does.

- Get the biggest hammer you can find, the biggest screw driver, the biggest pry bar and just before your hubby gets home place them on the floor and act like your getting ready to go at it, I bet it won't be long before you can watch how its done :) My mother would do this and it worked ever time.

- Q: I ripped up all the existing tile, it was small tiles that I had to chisel up. There is quite a bit of thinset that is bonded to the wood floor and its impossible to get it all up. If I try and chisel it all off I end up ripping up the wood and making it worse.I think the wood sub floor is sitting on another older piece of sub floor but i‘m not sure.What are my options here?- put cement board over it (do i need to put waterproof membrane?) and then tile it? If I do this the bathroom floor will be slightly higher then the hallway floor.- Can I use self leveler on the wood subfloor and then tile over it? it would probably be the ideal height.- Do I chance ripping up the subfloor and doing cement board and then tile?Am I missing any other options?
- Use the cement board or 1/4 exterior plywood. I don't know about waterproof membrane, ask when you buy the cement board. You can get moldings to cover up the fact that the floors are uneven, just remember to pick up your feet. Trying to level would be a nightmare, IMHO! Ripping up the subfloor is a lot of work for nothing.
- Q: i have ceramic tiles that are loose hollow underneath
- the person that installed it probably didn't put enough grout or the right one and maybe they didn't use the right tile for the room, their is such things as tiles for the bathroom or kitchen do to the usage and damage it will be receiving.
