Q: the one where i can picture of single tile not the whole floor
Google American Olean, Florida tile, Dal Tile, Mohawk, Laufen, U S Ceramics, Crossville,Armstrong,Congoleum, or Interceramic. These are a few major manufactures of tile. Most show individual tiles as well as some whole floors. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
Q: I live in an apartment and ive never had floor tiles like these. There is concrete underneath but I think these are ceramic tiles on top.I have no clue what to use to bring back the shine.Any suggestions would be helpful
i take advantage of a Magic Mop which has an abrasive facet and a gentle facet so i will scrub from a top. It took a splash getting used to and that i now %. up the airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust bits with the graceful factor besides. bought in a food market or Wilkinson kind save. I additionally use bleach and a tiny little bit of washing up liquid as suggested by using Aggie in how sparkling is your place. tried the steam mop and each thing became very moist, attempt to borrow one to attempt in the previous paying for,
Q: We are laying 18 x 18 porcelain tiles in our kitchen for an open house we‘re having in 6 days. We can‘t figure out when and how to tile under the refrigerator. Do we have to move the refrigerator into another room? Can we wait two days for the mortar and grout to set firm and move the refrigerator onto the newly installed tile so we can lay tile where refrigerator will go? If we do that, should we then wait 24 hours for that tile to set so we can move the refrigerator back into place? What is the best way to handle the installation? I would appreciate any thoughts on how this is most ideally done.
Well, please take my advice as I used to work at a popular Australian tile franchise. Number one - make sure the porcelain you are laying is pre-sealed, as porcelain is a natural stone and is 'porous', so harsh staining can will occur if they are not sealed. If they are just 'Glazed Porcelain' tiles, they don't need to be 'sealed' as they are on a ceramic biscuit and just have a glazed protective coating, which are quite 'hardwearing'. In which they are 'ceramic'. Number two - YES!! you must fully take out all fixtures to lay in the bathroom and kitchen, tiles will almost usually be there many years more than a vanity or a fridge. If you replace your kitchen cabinetry, well all floor space should be tiled. Many people run into problems of the 'previous owner' not doing the job properly, and down the track they wan't the same tile.....well the life of a tile is around 4 years then they become extinct., even if you can get the same tile, it will not be of the same batch/shade. Trying to fix up half-hearted jobs isn't as easy as some people think!!! So please tile ALL floor area and order enough so you have a couple of spare boxes left over, for future repairs. Because you will never get that same tile batch/shade ever again!! You'll also make it easier for the next person who lives there. Also, if you find out that if it is true polished porcelain and there not pre-sealed, buy a 'reputable' tile sealer and seal them before laying. As when you grout the tile (if there not sealed) you will create a grout haze around all your joints and will be a nightmare to remove and your lovely porcelain won't look so 'lovely'!! HAVE FUN......
Q: I have three ceramic tiles that need a special curved cut. I‘m just looking for some place where I can take the tiles in and they cut them for me onsite and I walk out with my cut tiles. Home Depot doesn‘t offer this service. Who does? I live in Atlanta.

Q: Trying to clean my kitchen's Ceramic tiles . Does any one know a good way to clean stain from Ceramic tiles and how to prevent it in future.
Hi there, in my judgment Ceramic tiles are made from refined clay and other material. Maintenance is important through routine cleaning with mild soap and water. If you have some stains to remove, try a few of these suggestions to get your tile looking new again. 1.Clean the stained area with plain water and a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly. 2.Put on gloves. Use these to protect your hands even if the product is considered natural or non-toxic. 3.Mix borax and lemon juice together on a disposable plate or bowl. The consistency should be a paste-like substance. Rub onto the stain and allow it to dry completely. Rinse the ceramic tile with water and repeat until stain is gone. 4.Use a mixture of a vinegar and salt to make a paste. Apply to the rust stain and wait 4 to 5 hours and then rinse with hot water. Repeat as necessary. 5.Consider purchasing a Lustro Italiano cleaning kit. Apply to area with a moistened, soft cloth. This Lustro Italiano will remove the stain and not scratch surfaces. These are the steps you want to follows remove the stain from the tile. Q: I just replaced the riser rail in our electric shower, but the fittings were slightly different, so now I have 2 bare holes in the tiles. Should I be concerned about moisture getting into the wall, and if so what‘s the best way to fill these holes? Would polyfilla be enough?
You definitely don't want moisture to get into your walls. It will create problems. I'd recommmend a silicone-based caulk, you can probably find one that matches your tile or grout color somewhat. If you need a more cosmetic fix, replace the individual tiles that have holes drilled in them. You can epoxy them or thin set them in place, then regrout.
Q: Qingdao where there are Bode tiles monopoly
Qingdao high-tech park building materials city has, in Qingdao Laoshan District
Q: I accidently kicked in one of the tiles near the knobs on the bottom front of the shower. the tile is caved in and loose so i took it out and noticed the blue board behind it. There is a blue board and 6 tiles on the board. the blue board is easily pushed back and has little support. the 6 tiles are loose too and if i press the tile, it will go back a little. I think the blue board provided little support for the tiles and the tile cave in would of happened eventually anyway. either that or it was completely my fault because i caved in one of the tiles which made all of the other tiles loose?? I think the blueboard had little support and it wasn‘t completely my fault. should i fight my landlord on this?i just met with her and sat through a lecture with her accusing me of everything, from having parties trashing the apartment to the slightly black grout near the tub so im kind of worked up over this.
If you hadn't kicked it then it would still be as it was you have no excuse you have to curb your temper you have to respect other peoples property
Q: Hi,We put porcelain tiles on our kitchen floor.Unfortunately the contractor did not do a great job. He did not clean it properly and now the grout is all over the tiles. its been 1 month the they put the tiles. How can I take grout off the tiles? I got a grout cleaner from Home depot but its not working as it should be. Please advise
You can use Muratec acid, but use it carefully. Wear rubber gloves, and use it slowly, try and take it off in small layers. Don't pour it on and let it set too long. Porcelain has a continuous color all the way through, so there might be a little dulling in the sheen from the glaze being removed, but just re-seal the tile. If your contracted through a tile outlet, and they recommended the contractor, he is responsible for the install and final product. Take photos before you try to clean it, and take them to the store and have them repair it. There is no sense in you trying to fix what should have been done right the first time. I have had to go behind other installers that did a slop job -grout lines crooked, tiles cut wrong, wavy floors to repair them-sometimes having to completely rip up the whole floor and start over at the company expense. Be sure when having any contracted work done that you are satisfied with the final work, once you sign off on it and pay them, you are releasing them from obligation from that point on.
