6. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles? Which one
more slippery, more aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean?

- first of all, you need to build different densities of 2D tile arrays according to how much of the map will be in the viewport at any given time. Then, you need a way of converting the geographic reference at the center of the viewport to the tile that is covered at that zoom level, and for finding the adjacent tiles as well. - Tile is definetly more astheticly pleasing to the eyes. However it is alot harder to keep clean in the bathrooms. I am on my 4th home...and have had both vynil and tile. Although vynil will not last as long, it is inexpensive to replace, warmer in your feet, and a heck of alot easier to keep clean.. I reccomend vynil over tile anyday.

Some can be re-activated with heat while others need to be removed then a fresh application trowled on.

I've been on the planet a long time; and have installed multiple thousands of sq. ft. of tile; and applied thousands of gallons of paint; but NEVER together. I'll just say; IF I was asked to do so; I'd refuse a job no matter how much the customer was willing to pay. It isn't something I'd want my name on when the paint starts peeling; or a fingernail happens to scratch it; or attempts to remove soap scum; create a large area of SKIN to come off with the scrubbing action.
