Thanks!!: The Glass or ceramic has no difference to the fuse proerties, Fuses normally come with both current rating and duration - slow blow, normal, or fast blow, normally identified on the end after the current rating example 2AS (slow) 2AF (fast) You can get both with different current ratings, and both with different duration characteristics However the glass type are more specialist for electronics and you are more likely to be able to get this with the correct duration characteristics. The glass offers visability of condition, some ceramic are also sand-filled for extra protection. Replacing the glass with ceramic is fine provided they are the same characteristics. You may have to try online say through RS.
