FAQ

I bought a ceramic mold and thought I would be able to pour my faster plaster into it and easily separate the two halves and have little figurines. The plaster isn‘t coming out. The plaster is 12 hours into it‘s set time of 24, but it‘s not coming out even with hitting/tapping, and doesn‘t release even with my exacto knife. So obviously I am extremely disappointed. I have never done this before and am now wondering if it was intended for slip casting or I should have used some other material instead of plaster. I was trying to make the figurines for my plastercraft halloween village, which are made from plaster. Is there anything I can use to get it out fairly cleanly? I have tried to run it under hot and warm water to see if it would release or expand and I could pull pieces out, but it didn‘t seem to do much. I‘m very disappointed. For future reference, do I need to apply some sort of release material to make whatever I use not stick to the mold? Hopefully someone has some advise I can use.
you have to solder copper pipes there is no epoxy for copper pipes.
buying ceramic curling irons isn‘t supposed to be a difficult thing but I‘m told this is better than the regular types. I‘d appreciate any tips on how to choose ceramic hair irons or hot tools ceramic flat iron that straightens and doesn‘t damage hair. thanks a lot!
the less heat you add to your hair the less damage it will do. also if you use a special flat iron spray on it first (works for curls too) it will protect your hair from the heat a little. the best in any electric styling tools is CHI hands down, it kills the competition everytime. it heats up instantly, its got great control and grip and the tool are really adjustable. problem is the price is a little high. and yes. its alllll ceramic. if your low on money tho walmart has some stuff. im not sure if they would have ceramic curling irons tho, its more of an oddity in mainstream stores for some reason. Sallys beauty supplies is another place you can ty for cheaper tools. but your still looking at about 60 bucks
ceramic seems to be coated/finished, and directions say i can use permanent marker.i‘ve looked elsewhere for answers but all i‘m getting is use enamel. i have some spray paint, maybe i could make stencils, but even then i‘d have to leave it out for 21 days OR have a crazy oven. im not even sure if oil paint would work? should i even trust the mug? i got it from a dollar store, it‘s create a mug brand or whatever.thanks! :-)
Umm, ive never come across that before, but I guess you can use primer, then paint it. You'd have to let it dry longer than usual, though.
I am getting braces in 2 weeks and i have the choice of getting ceramic ones or metal ones. what are the pros and cons of each?
I even have braces and mine are metallic, they dont stain, mine have by no ability broke in the ten months that I even have had them. I wouldnt get ceramic and metallic because of the fact that is going to harm greater to form of have 2 strategies
i really prefer tourmaline since it does cause less damage towards the hair and is over all better [in my opinion]but i have a hard time finding one that is really good at a fair price.i currently like the ghd, but its ceramic. should i keep looking for a tourmaline or just get a cermaic flat iron that proves to straighten but doesnt have a heat dial [causeing more damage D:]
use zep degreaser,, or pine sol do not waste your money with wheel cleaners, they do not work any better than pine sol or zep degreaser but are far more expensive
In your oven? I don‘t have a roasting pan and im cooking a whole chicken. BUt i do have a crock pot and its taking forever. Can i take the inner ceramic pan out (the part without the cords and glass lid) and put it straight into the oven?
Yes you should be able to find one that will screw into your drain plug hole. Make sure to use some teflon tape
I have a well seasoned clay chimnea that my husband brought me home from south Tex. several yrs ago. I‘d like to give it some pizazz! What would ceramic glaze do to it? How long and hot would the fire have to be kept for the galze to do it‘s stuff? I‘d love some deep reds with gold and turquoisesouthwestern flare!
You don't need it. It's just for show. The Wii Wheel is just a fancy housing for a Wiimote. You can use the Wiimote without it. You can also use a GameCube controller, the Classic controller of the Wiimote/Nunchuck combo.
