Oh yeah i play mostly woodsball too.: THe jj ceramic barrel is good because it is ceramic and that is the same material that toilets and sinks are made of and it is very smooth and is easy to clean and accuracy is widely based on how clean your barrel is. clean barrelbetter accuracy. The apex is based on the flatline and it was made by one of the guys who helped make the flatline so in a sense you could say that it is an upgraded version of the flatline. although the apex has those neat trick shots the flatlines range or accuracy might be better but will not be able to do these trick shots as well if it can do them at all. plus the apex can go an apex adapter which is made for almost all guns while flatline is only for timmpmanns. although flatlines are only for tippmanns they are definately reliable and perform great. their range is phenomenal but their accuracy is only slightly better than most barrels so if u want range go for this. So if you have a tippman go for either apex or flatline as both will work great for tippmann. if you have a gun that is not tipmann and you dont see yourself needing or useing the trick shots te apex barrel gives you then go for jj cause they are for accuracy, not range and as longe as you kepp them clean they will perform as good as any other barrel out there.

Q: So for my university I have to fulfill something called a creative process requirement, and I have the options of Music, Drawing, Ceramics, Creative writing, etc. And I‘m not sure which one to choose, im not good at any of that stuff, so its really up in the air. Any suggestion/ideas?: If you consider yourself worse at Drawing than you may be at Ceramics, then ceramics is the way to go. Another thing to consider is that clay can be really expensive, and drawing can be done with just a piece of paper and a pencil. I prefer drawing myself.

Q: Help I have a ceramic stovetop and my kid was warming milk up for hot cocoa ,which spilled over and has burn mark now. I tried cerama briteno luck: I had problems with mine, too! I used the stuff that came with the stove, but it's more like a polish than a cleaner. I tried everything I could think of and the only thing that's worked consistantly is a scotch-brite kitchen sponge with some patience and a little elbow grease. I use the rough side of the sponge GENTLY and it hasn't scratched the surface though I've been doing it like that for months now. I only use the sponge on the burns, otherwise, I use regular kitchen cleaners (windex, etc,) and the polish once a week to keep it looking like new. Good luck!

Q: I've never been in a ceramics class before so I don't know what to expect, but I'm REALLY set on sculpting something like a resin anime figurine (except obviously not resin). I'm thinking it'll take a lot of work if it's doable, and I'm willing to put in the work. think it can be done? :b: Have you sculpted anything before, or do you mean you've never been in an actual class? If you've never really tried ceramics, this will probably be very hard. I would start out with something easier, at least until you became familiar with clay and how to use it. Detail work can be very difficult when you're first starting, and I imagine a resin anime figure would require a fair amount of detail. Also, in beginning ceramics classes, the instructor tends to choose the actual project (coil pot, slab pot, painting relief, etc.) so I'm not sure how much freedom you'll have when it comes to project selection. From a technical standpoint though, the figure is do-able. You could always sculpt the figure on your own. Try polymer clay, it's easy to use and you don't have to worry about it drying out.

Q: my friends all say that ceramic bearings make you go faster and perform better, but i say they make little or no difference. Whose right? what are the pro‘s and con‘s on ceramic longboard bearings?: My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. It is possible to take strips of two different color clays and knit them together to form a knitted pattern. Slab: A slab is a rolled out piece of clay, usually used for hand building. This can be done with a rolling pin, or a slab roller. It is similar to rolling out cookie dough but you leave it about 1/4 thick so it doesn't crack when you mold it. Ceramic: The term covers inorganic non-metallic materials which are formed by the action of heat. Grog: Grog is used in pottery and sculpture to add a gritty, rustic texture called tooth; it also reduces shrinkage and aids even drying. This prevents defects such as cracking, crow feet patterning, and lamination. The coarse particles open the green clay body to allow gases to escape. Clays with low grog feel very smooth. It the clay has a lot of grog it feels very sandy and is often rougher on your hands when you work with the clay. Mold-a mold is any form that you use to mold your clay. In true ceramics it is generally a hollowed out form that liquid clay is poured into and then once dry the mold is opened to reveal a 3d form. In hand building or wheel thrown pottery, this can be a plate or any other object that you put a slab on and then form to the shape of the mold. Bone Dry-Is the final stage of dryness of the clay. Up until the time that the piece is bone dry it is still cold (moisture still inside) to the touch, and you can leave a mark with your fingernail with the clay. Once it is bone dry it is more brittle, it has almost an ashy appearance and is signaling that all the moisture has been removed and it is ready to be fired.
