You cannot pry or stab hard and you must be very choosy of cutting boards, wood or teflon only. Excellent knife with an extremely sharp cutting edge but care must be taken as it is brittle. I use mine mainly for fresh vegies.

- If I were you I woud metal ones because ceramic ones look really weird, like lumps on your teeth with a wire through them. I like Metal ones because you can change the bands and they just in general to mee look better. For the bands, yellow makes your teeth look yellow, white, clear and I think it was silver stain and look bad. Pastel or light colours fade and look kinda weird. The daker the colour the whiter your teeth look. I haven't had braces but I really want them so I do my stuff :) Ps, I don't know about the ceramic bracket(s) falling off :S
