- Q: I need some advice! For my wedding we will be borrowing tables and metal folding chairs. I already have the tables planned out with white tablecloths and a fuschia tulle runner down the center. My problem is the chairs are really ugly and I need a very cheap idea on how to cover those. We are on a really tight budget ($3,000 for everything)as we are paying for everything ourselves. I was thinking of buying some tulle for the chairs and ribbon, but I wanted to know if anyone would have any idea what that would cost per chair? My colors are fuschia, yellow and orange. Thanks!
- This may sound weird..but it works! My friend had the same concern/issue for her reception, so here was what we did... Pillowcases! We went to a few of our local discount/closeout stores that sell bed linens. We bought out all of the white pillow cases they had and even found a few that were in the blue color that she was using for her wedding colors. They came 2 in each pack for only 1.00 to 1.50 per pack (depending on which store we got them from) so we really only pd about .75 or so per chair. here's how to do it.... 1-Slip the case over the back of the chair and pull down just until you reach the seat and the entire back is covered. 2-Standing behind the chair, fold the excess at the top towards you in a way that results in a cuff that is about 3 to 4 wide, 3-fold that down towards you over the back of the chair and pin it to secure. 4-Then use your tuelle and tie a bow to camoflouge the fold. We used wide satin ribbon and created more of a banded look (like a ribbon sash on a wedding gown). We tied it into a knot- without the bow-and left the long streamer-trails. We had also arranged it so that all of the 'knots w/trailing ribbons were more towards the right sides of the chairs, rather than directly in the center. It was very striking and we got a LOT of compliments on it! If you DO use cases in both white and your wedding color, use your wedding color ribbon/netting to tie on the white chairs and then use white ribbon/netting to tie on the color chairs. - i actually prefer my quickie power chair. i dont like the people from hoverround. they came to my house for a test drive and yelled at my dog when she did nothing wrong. im slightly hearing impaired and if i remember she was alerting me to a noise. anyway, i like the scooters at places i shop at because it makes my shopping experience 100% better when im not trying to wheel and hold onto my purchases. they have a wheelchair (cant remember the brand offhand) that you can have it as a power chair and it also converts to a scooter. by the way i can and do drive a normal car.

- you NEED the foam peanuts that are used in the bean bag chairs for it to WORK like a bean bag chair...feathers will NOT work, they don't 'spring back' nor do they remain 'fluffy'...you can get the beans at most hobby or fabric stores (or online if you google for them) and yes it's best to use a pattern...if you don't know what you're doing (and by the question I see you don't), READ and LEARN to use a pattern and the CORRECT materials for the job.

- My Dad had a manual wheelchair so i know how heavy they are. Really won't be worth your trouble after paying for shipping handling. Doubt that a potential buyer would want to put out the extra cost. Just a few suggestions: Advertise in local community newspaper Place an ad in either The Want-Ad or Bargain Hunter's Guide. (does not cost unless item is sold). Put up index cards in Supermarkets or other community bulletin board. Be sure to include an accurate description of the chair,your asking price contact phone #. If all else fails consider donating the chair. Gave my Dad's to a local Veterans Hospital.

- The general rule of thumb for installing a chair rail is to measure the height of the ceiling and divide it by three. The chair rail should be about 1/3 of the way up the wall from the floor. Usually, you'll find that's somewhere between 32 and 36 inches. If you don't want to measure your wall, you can always slide a chair up to the wall and do it that way. Then again, you can use your imagination and do it eith4er higher or lower, since you're wanting to separate paper and paint and don't seem to be very worried about a chair hitting up against the wall as you would in a dining room or other room normally used with chairs. So consider this: if you want to make your bathroom seem like it has a high ceiling, consider bringing the rail up higher than usual, like about 2 or 3 feet from the ceiling. It all depends on what your paper looks like and what look your aiming for. But if you just want a normal chair rail, follow the above directions to get the standard height. Enjoy your new bathroom!

Proper posture is to have both feet flat on the floor while sitting on the edge of the seat with a straight back. c.
