Q:IDE HDD to SATA PSU no power cable?
this is what you want. The IDE power cable your referring to is actually called a molex connector. IDE is the type of data interface the hard drive uses (the wide cable).
Q:Why did my power supply entrance burn and the cable too?
A dodgy power cable can very easily singe or burn the power socket on the computer. In general, the lighter the cable, the more dodgy it is. $2 is nothing - I would buy a more expensive cable. The cents you save isn't worth it when your house is on fire. It's impossible to know whether your power supply or other computer components suffered any damage because of the electrical fire. You could try testing with a multimeter, but you should probably replace the power supply at a minimum.
Q:Shall i use directly Nikon S550 digi camera U.S. power cable in India?
India power outlets run 220v, not 120, so you are going to need a converter or a completely new power-supply.
Q:amp goes into protection mode and power cables get hot?
yeah you probably need bigger hots and grounds your wires should never get hot
Q:power cables and amp question..?
250 watt power cord? Where are the fuses which are being blown? Maybe you put in the wrong fuses or the wrong amperage fuse.
Q:Is it ok to play my PSP using the power cable instead of the battery?
It is fine. The PSP is just telling you that it is taking power from the outlet instead of the battery.
Q:I'm moving--how far in advance to set up power, cable, etc?
You okorder.com to compare electricity and cable or satellite rates. The cheaper the rate the less you pay :) I have personally never had to pay a deposit even when I was in college. They check your credit for outstanding balances on utility bills and base your deposit if any on that.
Q:2 GAGE POWER CABLE TO HOT!!!!?
Too hot means the current is very high. Probably in excess of 200 amps. I suspect there is a short in the amp, specially if you tried to connect it hot and drew a spark. That will kill a lot of electronics. .
Q:Guitar Amp Power Cable Snaped..?
Hahaha, that is THE most basic DIY ever. Ok go to you local hardware store and get maybe 4 foot of similar wiring, look around for what you want, get home, open up the back of your roland, find where the chord was wired, should be either soldered or clamped, undo these and attach the new wiring, if your cheap you could just take the plug head of the original cable and attach it to where the cable broke, and you'll just have a shortened power cable.
Q:Where do i put the power cable of a video card on the Motherboard?
You use an open power plug from the power supply. If there isn't an extra one, you need a splitter.
