Q: I am going to go shopping for high chair of Tuesday and I need some help. My son is almost five months old.I want one that has several hight positions, removable tray (for easy cleaning), and possibly the seat can also recline to lower angle. However, these chairs are a lot pricier than the ones that don't have many position.So what kind of a chair do you have? Do you like it? What would you change on it? Do you think I really need all those features?Thanks in advance girls.: We have the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders high chair. I think it was like $130 and it has different heights, removable tray, reclines and has some toys on it to keep my daughter busy while I'm getting her food ready or while we are eating. The only thing I would say is I agree with the other answer on the seat material. Its not the greatest for cleaning but there are ways to cover it and I don't like the vinyl coverings anyways (I have it on my feeding seat) as if its hot and shes a little sweaty she sticks to it which can't be comfy. I do not recommend a feeding seat that straps onto your chair. I have one and my daughter can tip the whole chair over if she gets too excited in it.

Would adding the chair railing increase or decrease value of my house if I add it appraised? Will it make it look older?: I can't possibly see adding a piece of wood on your wall can significantly increase the value of your home. I would not worry about the chair rail, and focus on other areas that give you more bang for your buck. Look at your landscaping, exterior, lighting, etc.

Q: I have a wooden chair that has cracked where the leg joins to the seat. The part that screws the top of the leg to the seat has cracked. Is there anyway to repair this to avoid purchasing a new chair and keeping it a matching set?: If i understand your question,the leg of the chair has cracked at the top where the threaded stud is, and it is making it loose. If this is the case. You need to remove the stud, then widen the crack slightly be careful not to make it worse, next put some wood glue in the crack,you can do this by using a straw to blow the glue deep into the crack,once enough glue is in the crack,you will need to clamp it. If you don't have any clamps you can tie some rope around the damaged area the use a strong dowel or stick and twist until it is nice and tight or you can use zip ties or rubber bands (but the rope works a lot better).Let it dry overnight.When the glue is completely dry you can re-tread the stud back into the leg and screw onto chair. If this wasn't what you where asking let me know and I'll give you some more solutions.
