Q: I want to upload ringtones on my cricket phone and I have a usb cord that fits but the new hardware thing pops up and says that it didnt install when I plug it in. what shoudl i dothanks
Yes, it is one and the same. You need to download your Cricket phones installer first on your PC. This software enables your PC to recognize your phone, then connect your phone to your PC with the USB/data cable.
Q: For Example: I will be purchasing a new Xbox 360 very soon in addition to the old one that I also have. I was wondering if, with a Data migration kit or a data transfer cable, I could take the map packs, as well as downloadable content I have on my current Xbox 360 and give it to my new one.
You can't transfer em via cable but if you use the same live account you can download them again.
Q: I have tried two usb data cables. One was bought from OKorder as the correct one to use. I have also tied each usb data cable on two computers. Neither computer recognizes the microsd memory chip inside. What am I doing wrong? Or is there a special cable needed to connect my LG600g to my laptop?
I would just get a SD card reader and download music and music using a card reader. I have a USB card reader that I use to load music and pictures to my phone for my Net10 phone. There are a few more steps. But it works for me. Put the micro sd card in to the card reader. Then move the music and pictures to the card. Then you have to open up the location of where the card is and move each picture and music item to the corresponding file.
Q: Can we transfer data btween 2 laptps using cross cable, one with xp professional edition and one with home edition.i did give the ip addresses, 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 , connection will establish but I pinged then it shows request timed outIs there any particular network setting i need to do, or is it jst that home and prof edition problem!!!!!RegardsDinesh
I have seen Windows configured (from the vendor) to ignore an icmp request (ping). I have also seen a cable give link lights and still not allow a connection. Get the two laptops setup to use the same workgroup and then see if you can locate each other via Windows networking. ( I am sorry I can't give more precise instructions but I am a linux guy). The cross over cable is the correct choice for what you want to do though. I hope this helps!
Q: I have yellow belkin data transfer cable and I want to transfer information from my xp to my vista, but when I plug it in it doesn't do anything, am I missing some sort of program? Can anyone help me? It's an ethernet plug if tht helps
Just give them to me if they dont work ill be happy
Q: I am looking for objective published data of audio cable physical/electrical properties before and after long usage that supports this claim. Hearing test data or claims does not count because it is subjective and many variables (player, receiver, amplifier, speakers) are included. Thanks, T Green.
You won't see any data because the need to break in a cable is usually claimed in listening tests rather than technical tests. It might be possible to measure changes to the insulation and wire due to aging/environmental exposure -- outgassing from the cable insulation, oxidation of the wire, mild heating of the insulation, etc. I have never seen any data that any of those occurrences can be shown to be directly responsible for a measurable change in audio response of a cable. The cables, like anything, will change over time -- but can anyone really hear the difference, and, is the difference really bad? It could be possible that a listener might be able to detect a small change in delay time for a well-know test sample. Making a declaration of good or bad on the simple change in delay would seem to be a factor of the listener's attitude rather than a measurable quantity. Many of the audio reviewers are said to have golden ears, which is another way of saying they agree on what sounds perfect. But, just because a group says their version of perfect is the truth doesn't make it so. Since 99.99% of the people can't hear what the golden ears are talking about, is it worth spending the $$$$ to achieve it? 99.99% of the people don't seem to think so. And, even if you can hear it, is it really bad or just different? I'd vote for different, but I'm not selling magazine reviews or audio equipment.
Q: I am getting a 250GB hard drive by itself as a gift for the XBOX360 Slim because 4gb isn't enough for him. What do I need the Xbox 360 Data Transfer Cable for exactly or can I do without it? Do I only need it if he has an older style xbox he wants to transfer from or will I need it to use this new drive with the XBOX slim? I can't tell.
you need to call a million-800-4-my-xbox to get them. it quite isn't any longer obtainable via their internet internet internet site. it is going to fee approximately $13. i attempted getting one from them 2 situations this weekend. they have some element knotted up of their device and weren't in a position to technique the request. with any luck they have it fastened now.
Q: Data Cables? And how do you apply them to a computer?
Well, a data cable is just a cable that is used to pass or transfer data from a computer to a device or from one component to another. It's a very general term and the way you would apply them to a computer is simply by taking the connector and look for the matching port.
Q: I was wondering if the data cables are inter-changeable?
yea, they do all of them are the same except for the ipod suffle. I use my sister's sometimes, (i have a ipod touch she has a ipod nano).
Q: At age 64 - I am neither good with computers or phones. Cingular/ATT sold me an LG CU500v phone and a SanDisk 2 gig memory card. I bought a USB cord to allow me to download games ring tones from my computer to the phone as well as feed camera photos to the computer and avoid the cell phone fees. (I am not only old, not a whizz at computers - but cheap as well.) The phone shows the memory card so I know that is working ok. The USB cord powers up the phone so I assume that is working ok. When I got the new hwd. wizard box - I Cancled (per the LG instruction book). Then, when I go to Desktop - My computer - it shows the CD drive, the hard drive etc. but nothing on my Removable Disk. I was supposed to be able to download on the computer and then drag/drop into the phone (removable disk). My computer is a Windows 2000. .What am I doing wrong? .thanks in advance for any help.
I just saw this same issue on a review of the product. The USB Connection Mode on your device is most likely still set to Data Service rather than Mass Storage. Unplug your phone from the usb cable. On the phone, go to your Menu button, choose Settings (# 9), then choose Connection (# 7). Choose USB Connection Mode (#2) and then choose Mass Storage (#1). After this, you should be able to plug it back into the usb cable and you should be able to drag/drop media onto your phone. Hope this helps
