But it has came today my new one but my original elite power cable will not fit into this new elite i have. any reason why? will a cable for the original white xbox work for my new elite?
- It depends on what chip set they have. An older Elite 360's power cable (with the older set) will fit into a new one, but not the other way around. It sounds like the one you just bought is older than the one that was banned.

- The USB 2.0 cable supplied with the iPod can be used to charge and sync the iPod. The cable can charge and sync when connected to a computer. The power adaptor is for charging the iPod through the SAME USB CABLE which is supplied with the iPod through a normal power outlet, this is useful if your USB ports are occupied or you are travelling without your computer.

- Your wire has to be matched to the circuit breaker. If you have a 15 amp breaker you need #14 wire. Otherwise you could overload the wire and burn it out and the CB wouldn't blow.

- Good question, however I don't think there is a way at this time. I am a Computer Engineer and coming from an electrical point of view it would be very difficult for the USB cable to send enough power to the battery to be able to charge it significantly. You have to understand that the laptop battery is very large and has to be significantly more powerful than a battery like say the iPod that can be charged via USB. Power consumption and load means the world to batteries. A load like a laptop would use on a USB cable would fry the cable in my opinion. Take care, Chad
- Q:I have an Eclipse SW9102 (101500 Watt Max, 750 W RMS, Dual 4ohm Voice coils) and I'm looking to buy an amp kit and amplifier. How big of an amp do I need and does it matter if its too much power? I'm looking at the SSL F2.2000 FORCE CLASS 2000W amp on OKorder as cost is a big factor in my setup. - Power cable, USB keyboard, USB mouse. That's it. Find a power cable (any old computer power cable will work) and see if it even powers on and does anything first. Crack it open. Set it on its face, then undo the three screws across the bottom. They do NOT come out. They only loosen up until you can't turn them anymore. The back pops off. Look for any swollen or leaking capacitors. If you find any, then it's junk. If you don't, then see if there's any RAM in it. If not, toss some PC3200 DDR RAM in there and see if you get anything.

- G man and timothy are the only ones who are right. The others do not understand about fuses. The current rating is an absolue so an 8amp fuse will blow when 9 amps goes through it. The voltage is just an indication of the possible use, but it just does not matter in this range. At all. SO sorry your husband is right and it would work fine and give exactly the same protection as the original. You are not changing the specification in any way that matters. If you want the physics, heat produced in a wire equals I (current) squared x R (resistance) x time (seconds) Joules. No voltage element in that equation. SO if the current flowing generates more heat than can radiate away from the fuse wire, it will get hotter until it melts - when the fuse has blown.
