One thing I will say though is that the AMD FX chips are crap compared to the Intel Core i5-2500k and they're similarly priced. It would be a much greater investment to go Intel than AMD. Thanks: It depends on many factors. Bulldozer XL5000 is very potent, since it contains no fillers, no binders and no crap like other products. It does not rely on stimulants to give you an illusion of energy only, but still each scoop contains 100mg caffeine. So, depending on your tolerance level (how much caffeine your body can handle?) and number of scoops you take the answer would vary. If you take more than one-scoop then I would recommend not to consume additional coffee since it can cause some jitters and possibly make you crash. But, if you are an avid coffee drinker then you probably would be OK. What is interesting about Bulldozer XL5000 is that they have added Vinpocetine, which has been shown to improve memory, improve alertness, blood flow and overall have shown to improve mental performance without any side effects like other stimulants. We saw that Bulldozer was a complete failure and no better than the Phenom's. How could they release a processor knowing before everyone else it wasn't any better than their last line of processors? Is AMD just lazy?: Intel CPUs are better than AMD CPUs because I currently have an Intel CPU (i5 2500K); just like AMD graphics cards are better than NVIDIA graphics cards; because I currently have an AMD graphics card (Radeon HD 5870). On a serious note, Intel CPUs have a much better architecture in general than the AMD chips, which is usually why they are faster and more efficient. AMD is often better value for money though, but the i3 2100 is a seriously good little dual-core gamer for just ?89, so sometimes Intel do also represent outstanding value for money.
