1. Material  Introduction:

PVC is a strong, stiff, low cost plastic material that is easy to fabricate and easy to bond using adhesives or solvents. It is also easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment. Guangzhou Engineering Plastics Industries (Group) Company has studied and applied this material in many industries for many years.

Q:I mean the sheet that is used to make control panels its normally black and when etched it shows white, do any companies offer a custom service who sells it whats the term for this
I've okorder / ...
Q:How long do plastic sheets typically last?
The lifespan of plastic sheets can vary depending on various factors such as the quality of the material, environmental conditions, and usage. However, on average, plastic sheets can last anywhere from 5 to 20 years.
Q:Are plastic sheets resistant to moisture or humidity?
Yes, plastic sheets are typically resistant to moisture and humidity.
Q:Please explain what happens during the process of rubbing?Thank you so much for your help. :)
There is a possiblity that there will be an electrostatic charge produced. it will more likely be on the plastic sheet as that is a better insulator than the tissue paper - it will also probably have a negative charge as plastic has a tendency to this ( dependent on the type of plastic). If it is negative then it will have rubbed off electrons (negative charges ) from the paper which in turn will have become positively charged ( as long as contact with the fingers haven't conducted the charge away ( or more correctly allowed negatives from earth to go on it).
Q:I can save about $20 if I learn an effective method.
I'd just get a new one!
Q:Behr has special paint, can this be done with other paint?
you do not need to have special paint unless you are wanting a certain look. If you are wanting it to look like it has almost a crackle look, using plastic sheeting would be an easy way. If you are just wanting to almost blend 2 colors, they make this 2 headed roller that comes with a certain paint tray that you would pour 2 different colors in and put them on the wall at the same time. It is a really nice look. You could also do this with a sponge and a regular roller but this would probably take you longer to do. But any type of idea like that, you wouldn't need a specific type of paint unless you're going for a certain look.
Q:Sometimes when there is heavy rain, water seeps into the basement through cracks in the walls and floor. We do have french drains and a sump pump. We tried to place plastic sheeting along one side of the house. Previously, there was some green algae growing on that side. Now the entire side is covered in green algae. What should we do?
I strongly agree with previous answer. Water vapour will condense on plastic and this will bring mould. Your french drains may need clearing out, they do get full of sediment, maybe you could use bigger size aggregate for better drainage ? Also make sure the basement is well ventilated with air bricks, perhaps you could get more fitted so there is a better air flow. If you already have enough air bricks, make sure they are not clogged up with dust, spider webs etc.
Q:Thanks you guys! You're always so smart!
It depends on whether this is a mathematics question or a real one that involves actually doing the work. If it's math, then you would cut the piece into 96 1/8 strips and then chop them into 16 3/4 pieces or vice versa, it doesn't matter which you do first. 96 x 16 = 1536. There are 8 strips 1/8 wide in each inch and there are 12 inches in your sheet so 8 x 12 = 96. 12 divided by 3/4 = 16. 96 x 16 = 1536. If this is a real activity, then it depends on the type of plastic you're using and whether you can cut it with a knife or paper cutter because if it's plexiglass you have to use a saw of some sort and you can lose up to 1/8 for each cut due to the teeth of the saw blade. Therefore you would have approximately half as many finished pieces, and you would probably lose half of those because they'd fly all over the shop. Plexiglas is also prone to static electricity and would attract all the dust in the environment and be kind of a beast to do without special acrylic blades. Thin sheets of film could be done with scissors or a paper cutter.
Q:Are plastic sheets resistant to discoloration from sunscreens?
Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to discoloration caused by sunscreens.
Q:clear plastic
It depends on which quality that you prefer. As everybody knows made in china is the cheapest lenticular sheets. But quality is fair. If you would like to buy real quality lenticular lens , You must choose DP Lenticular. If you google this company, you will find them.
