Q:When did plastic surgery begin?
plastic surgery was first tested in WW1 to soldiers who had severe facial wounds, towards the end of ww2 more people were being killed due to infection than were being saved. however it was not until the 21st century that cosmetic surgery has become a normal thing
Q:plastic pants?
always use a diaper with those they stick to the kid and it pulls thier skin when you take it off
Q:friendly plastic help!?
I agree with Lily. Plastics are all petroleum products. Have you tried alternatives for whatever it is that you're looking for? I use glass canning jars and recycled glass bottles in the freezer, glass bowls with a plate over them to keep leftovers in the refrigerator, etc., etc. The things that are most difficult are appliances, small and large. My Plastic-free Life is a fun interesting blog.
Q:Plastic Surgery?????????
Most people think of plastic surgeons as a sort of parasite. You go to medical school and specialise, then spend your life doing face lifts and tummy tucks, and playing golf on Wednesdays. There are plastic surgeons who work on repairing damaged faces, cleft palates, and the like, but that is not what most people think of.
Q:Floating Plastics..?
advantage if you drop something plastic, it will float. plastic boats are lighter, so its much more conveinent. if someone dumps their garbage in a river or something, the plastics will float, so it will be easier to get out, because they are whats most harmful to the animals etc.
Q:Is a plastic cutting board faster than wood?
Plastic makes it easier to control the knife i think. I have had everything from bamboo, glass, wood, and a professional grade plastic cutting board that fast food and other restaurants use. My favorite is the plastic one for a few reasons, its easy care, cleaner, and because it is softer the knife dosent move around or slip when im cutting. The worst to me is bamboo and glass the knife just slides around.
Q:AFFORDABLE PLASTIC SURGEON?
Many plastic surgeons also perform cosmetic surgery that is unrelated to medical conditions. One of my friend Plastic Surgeons in Dallas process there last month at Cima Plastic Surgery Center by Dr. Jorge Galvan MD .She is alright now. I hope it will be helping your face lifts, breast implants, liposuction and many more.
Q:Stainless steel dog bowl vs. plastic?
i use porcelain for water it keeps it colder and i do use plastic and my lab did have a black nose when he was younger it is slightly lighter in color now at 3 yrs old but in not sure if its from the bowl. i would use stainless steel if your feeding raw
Q:I was just wondering, what you have done to use less plastics?
Buy fresh fruit and veg instead of produce that's shrink-wrapped (has a clear plastic film around it). You can also try getting jam and other things in glass jars and bottles instead of the plastic alternatives - these are easier to recycle because all you have to do is chuck them in a bottle bank when they're empty (wash them and take the lids off them first, though!). You can also save a lot of plastic by taking canvas bags or those 'bags for life' you see in supermarkets when you go food shopping - it saves a lot in plastic bags, and some stores give you store card points if you reduce the amount of bags you use at the till. The problem with plastic isn't really the amount you use, it's how you dispose of it. Try finding a plastics bin, or see if your council collects it anywhere. They usually have guides on how to recycle it, and if not them then it'll be on directgov.uk or something (or the US alternative if you're American). Hope this helps! :)
Q:Plastic Vrs, Paper?
It depends. We always get plastic, because we reuse them, and our town doesn't have a convienient way to recycle anything but metal. I use bags when I'm cooking to hold the trash like veg. peels, and eggshells. They are also useful if you are shipping something in a box, because they can help cushion the item, and then be used by the recipient as needed. They make great trashbags for small cans in the bathroom or bedroom. They're also good for sending leftovers home with guests. Just put all the containers in a bag and out the door they go. -joie
