Q: My 2000 Saturn SL2 ABS and Brake light come on when I hit about 25 mph and before the abs light comes on when I hit the brakes the ABS engage like I‘m on ice. I changed both ABS sensors and checked the fuse, could it be the brake master cylinder? (the brake pedal is kind of spongy) I went to Auto Zone and they said their scanner only does check engine lights.: I had the same problem with my Ford F150 truck, ABS light came on and brakes would pump like on ice, but was on dry pavement . Problem was the ABS computer chip needed to be reprogramed, COST $380.00 I told them to disconect ABS chip,the brakes work like the old days. you have to pump on ice but I saved 380.00

Do you hear a beep a moment after you turn it on? If so, it seems while cleaning, you simply unplugged your monitor cable. Now I know, before you even go looking back there, you're gonna say there's no way I un-plugged my monitor cable. But just do yourself a favor, check it, and once you've done that come back here and add some more detail to exactly what your computer does, and does not do. Does it beep? Does the HDD light flash? Describe the beeping, or it only 1 short beep? If it's many beeps, describe them. Do the fans spin? Do you hear a clicking? Does it turn itself off after a moment? Sorry for taking so long to reply, I didn't notice this was unresolved. I assume you've already taken all the cords out and replaced them. In that case it's unlikely but the only answer is, that something has bumped loose. In this case, it seems like it could be a RAM failure. But it is still odd that the power light would come on when pressed. Remove your power cord and VGA cable. If other cables are in the way, remove them too. Open your computers access panel and remove and re-seat the RAM. Inspect to make sure that there is nothing obstructing the spinning of the CPU fan, and that all cables are properly connected, nothing loose. Only the RAM should be removed and replaced. Re-assemble the PC and plug it all back in. Be sure to plug the VGA cable into the proper port, if you have a Video Card then plug it into that, instead of the port on the back of the motherboard. Turn on your PC, and write me a reply to inform me of the success.

Q: I do installing for a living and i am stumped on what to do about this. I put a viper 350hv in my 2002 dodge intrepid. my car never came with key less entry. mind you that car had power locks already. if i manually lock the door with the switch on the inside of the car and shut the door my dome light will dim and go out but if i just shut the door and lock it with the vipers fob the it will lock and chip twice meaning it is overriding the dome light because it wont dim. there are two ways i can think of to fix it. one is to set the setting on the viper to auto arm 30 seconds after the last door is shut or fix the dome light problem. please help!: diode isolate the doors 4 diodes and one more diode so the 12v don't come back to the alarm green wire in the drivers door total 5 diodes and it work i did it on a 2003 limited town and country some system

The problem with this is that air gets trapped in the ABS pump, and cannot simply be bled out. To properly bleed it, you must cycle the pump, which can only be done by a Chrysler DRB-II Scan Tool. As for the power booster, that should be fine. It has no contact with the brake fluid.

Any idea what I should do next before I take it to a garage?: Very likely a stuck evap vent valve, but only a diagnosis can verify that, unless you want to gamble on my educated guess alone. That is the most common evap system failure and the part is relatively inexpensive and simple to replace (it's at or near the evap canister).

Get the code erased and see if it comes back, if it does read the code again and go from there.

Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone have generic diagnostic trouble code scanners that will pull codes and can point you in the right direction. It is my understanding that they also provide this service at no charge but you may want to call your local store to confirm that.
