- Q: I had a stack able washer and dryer and the dryer broke, so we never got another one. I have a standard washing machine and we hang out clothes to dry (we only have 210/220 plugs and can't get a dryer). I use Gain or Wisk detergent and my clothes rarely smell good. Should I buy a smell enhancer for laundry?
- As mentioned in other answers, 'Program Files', should NOT be used to save user files, however if you do need to save it in this location, you would need to Elevate UAC. You can do this: Let's say you want to save a word file to that directory, 1. Right click on MS Word's icon, and select 'Run as administrator' 2. Open/Create/Modify the file you want, now you can save it anywhere, since Word is running with an elevated privilege.
- Q: Does anyone have an actual safety answer or a BS answer customers would believe?
- I believe so where the hoses connect to the torch. I am not 100% but I thought I remember seeing Teflon tape on the fittings. Call up a local welding shop and they would let you know. or visit the website of the torch and maybe they have assembly instructions.

- Q: Fire alarm during heart surgery?
- The Salvation Army provides blanket and sometimes first aid has them
- Q: Ok guys-I'm racing in an upcoming Texas Toughman team race which is 26 miles long. From what I gather-the pavement is probably pretty smooth and its a pretty straightforward course. Problem is, I made a bet with a coworker that I will beat his time no matter what and he has a stud expensive road bike that he is borrowing from his roommate-and I don't have any bike yet. Is it possible to beat this guy with a BMX Bike like found Target? I talked trash and told him I could beat him with a BMX bike or Huffy and now the whole office is waiting to see if thats possible. Neither of us are experienced bike riders-is it possible to beat him 26 miles with that cheap of a bike? My price range is under 100 dollars lol thanks for your help
- Order a Propane to LP conversion kit and an LP regulator from the maker of your new grill and you should be good to go. Bert
- Q: OK so I bought a home in UT about 2 months ago and we didn't notice the home doesn't have smoke alarms. I read my home inspection report and surprise there is nothing in there about them it seems he didn't even look for them.SO.1) Isn't it required to have smoke detectors in a home2) Shouldn't it be in my inspection report?
- Did you ever build model cars as a kid, or anything close to this? If so, you'll like CPVC. I'd go with the CPVC, and not use PVC, because CPVC will work on both Hot, and Cold water installations. CPVC, and PVC are physically different sizes, so you'd be doing a lot of juggling. Why hassle? CPVC costs just a tiny bit more than PVC, but it's worth it if you're under a house, or in a cramped space, and go..Oh crap, that parts outside, in a box in the truck! (NO, I've NEVER done that,LOL!) You can use the rubber sleeves,(looks like a black rubber piece of thick tubing), to attach the galvanized pipe to the CPVC. Sometimes the collars with the brass/plastic ferrules won't work due to size differences.(it's an adapter, that looks like a tube with two twist on caps,on each end, to connect two pipe together, going from galvanized to CPVC,[or PVC], that has a plastic 'ferrule' for CPVC, and a brass ferrule for galvanized. I use the cleaner/primer, then glue. I wait 20 seconds applying pressure to keep the part's together, then go on to the next peice. I usually wait an hour or so before I turn the water on. (I've known guy's who've turned it on after 20 minutes) It really isn't that tough, just like putting a puzzle together. I suggest a cardboard box underneath with you with pre-cleaned, and primered parts, inside, then clean, and primer your pipe ends, on the spot. Use a knife, and/or some sandpaper to de-burr the ends of the pipe after you've cut them with a hacksaw. Just my 2cent's!
- Q: i want to start selling baby clothes with own designs on (possibly on shop or start own website), and not sure how to go about it? would i be allowed to buy wholesale bulk of plain baby suits or t-shirts, then sew or print my own designs on then sell them on. or would this not be allowed cos clothes would already have someones label in?! or any ideas?? thank you
- shut off the computer and turn it on again, continuosly press f10 until it goes to a screen that says enter setup. Under it go to settings on one of the tabs and it will show the password, you can clear it, change it, or write it down.
- Q: No strikes in neighborhood in over 30 yrs. Any thoughts.
- (1) enough strength well if you want more water to go though the pipe, you can increase the pressure, thus if the pipe is to thin it will break (2) a large cross-sectional area. well if you want more water another way is to increase the pipe size (3) enough length to conduct the flow not sure what they are asking on this one but i guess if you have 2 inches of pipe it really doesn't do much does it. (4) a sufficient drop. the drop means water pressure, greater the pressure the more water will flow.
- Q: I've got an 6 speed, 2 wheel drive, 2008 Jeep Sahara Unlimited and I need snow chains or cables for my tires. My tires are 255/70/18 and need best to know what works awesome for Icy/snow roads?
- Its not easily done. The fittings allow a lap joint which is then soldered making a very strong and robust joint. What you are proposing would create a butt joint and they are very weak. There are some types of rubber boots that might allow this to be done but I've not seen anything exactly like what you are requesting.
- Q: Looking for someone who owns a 97 Geo Metro, or who has owned one in the past. Wondering how they are as far as driving in the winter. Wondering how they are on snow covered roads, or just driving on rain covered roads
- Making something adjustable yet airtight will be hard. The only rubber plugs I can think of are called plumbing test plugs, but don't know if they come small enough for you. PVC plug fittings are made, which fit (preferably with glue) inside the pipe, rather than covering the outside of the pipe like a cap does. Not sure that either would seal as well as you need without glue, or would be adjustable enough if left dry. - Either might fit well enough dry to test the tone, then trim the pipe to the desired length and glue in place
