Q:I have a w385 Krzer on Boost Mobile's UNLTD plan. I like the Krzer and all but I'd like a new phone but keep the same number and plan. I was just on their site and was looking at all their phones but there is no option to buy a new phone in replacement of your other. the Krzer w385 does not have a SIM card so I can't but another phone online to swap card into I don't think. Help is appreciated. Thank You

Hi Amuoro, and welcome to Y!A Camcorders: You've been asking about this same thing 5 times over the past month in various other Categories, but never have you said WHICH mobile phone model # you have. Different phones shoot video in different file formats (.3GP, .3GP2, .MP4, etc.). And you need to tell us what kind of computer you have. Editing transcoding (converting) video on a Mac is different than on a Windows PC. One important point, in your Question headline you say you want your phone videos to equal those of bigger camcorders. Most phones do not have the video quality to equal the quality of a bigger camcorder, but you can at least convert them to play normally on a television or YouTube / Netflix style media player. If you want to show or distribute your videos using DVD, then the final video format will be MPEG-2 (or you can use MPEG-4 encoding for Blu-ray HD). But this encoding step is usually handled by the DVD authoring software (Roxio, Nero, iDVD, etc.). For just online distribution viewing (YouTube, etc.), you have a wider choice of video formats for uploading. Since you are relatively new to Yahoo!Answers, you might not know that you can Update your Question using the Additional Details link on the Action Bar below your Question text. Hello, I just did this recently. First, once you sign on to Yahoo Messenger, down about 3/4 of the way down, below your friends or family list of names online, you will see Phone Out and a Phone In. You will need to click on the Phone Out and follow the instructions for calling, including entering your credit card number. Then, to begin making calls, you will have to follow the instructions that are sent to you from Yahoo in an email they will send to the email address you provided to them. This will take a few days to get done, so, you may not be able to make calls this way til after Christmas. Sorry

Online ordering has NEVER been secure. It doesn't need to be. The credit card companies are the ones who provide the useful security. Check to see what your fraud liability is, and what their policies are concerning it.

No need to be upset, Princess-all old people can't use cell phones. Problem is, mobiles don't last forever- esp. batteries if you are charging them every other day. 4 months is a bit early for the things you are experiencing, so take it back. If you can't do that, then get the cheapest one you can buy. You don't need 200 million pixel video camera on it if you won't use it. JUST MAKE SURE YOU CAN GO ON THE NET WITH IT! Don't forget to take your chip out and make sure the one you do buy is tri-band. But just keep phoning ATT and complain. I am guessing it is a free number, so when you are watching tv, having lunch, can't sleep, in the toilet, having a swim-just phone them. All the time, just keep going. You might get a free phone out of it-I did! 3.

150 pounds isn't that much, you know. I doubt you'll be able to support any phone. First, you have to cover the phone cost, along with the cost for number of minutes. You also have to pay for insurance (yes, there is phone insurance). There's also all the stuff that has to come with the phone (land charger, car charger, headphones). At best you'll probably be able to get one of the cheapest phones around. I suggest you save up before buying one.
