- Q: The part above my window where my curtains should hang is solid textured brick...My drill cant break through it. I thought about getting a more powerful drill but i dont want to damage the appearence. Is there a different way for me to mount them?
- depending on the weight of the rod and fabric? and the amount of brackets? you may be able to get a few blocks of 1 inch thick wood and secure them to the brick using Liquid nails...let dry then secure the brackets to the wood small pine blocks may split when screwing the screw in... the bigger the block the less chance of splitting..if its a long curtain rod add a bracket in the middle

- Black and red sound good. I would not put up curtains in the kitchen as they can get greasy and need a lot of cleaning. What about a simple roll blind for the kitchen window. Grey would be a good colour as it would tie in the colour of the dinning room and be a lighter colour to match the black and red. Red walls would make the kitchen appear smaller so why not just have a nice grey for the walls with a red feature wall?

- Hi i think the lime green carpet sounds fun and unique but there aren't really allot of colors to go with it..hm maybe u could go with a nice light brown or tan or even something more bold like a purple would contrast very nicely with it, i would also suggest maybe just painting the walls white and ur comforter could be the thing that pulls it all together, get one with lime green, white, maybe orange or blue or a lighter green, and believe it or not even black Accessories would really make the room pop, perhaps painting the furniture black to contrast with the white and green! there's allot you can do with that and i hope i've helped! check out the link i sent u there's a picture and it uses lime green, black and white to create something amazing, i hope it shows how all the colors come together so nicely.
