Q: i am helping my child to do a science fair projectwe are going to understand why and how foils gets hole after some food has been sitting there for few hoursis it salt? vinegar? acid in lemon juice or tomatoes? and are vinegar, lemon juice and bleach work almost or close to cleaning certain stuffs? i'm gonna take forever to find these infoso i turned hereplease no quot;smartquot; remarksthank you.
It provides intermediates that have lower activation energy to make than just doing the reaction in one step without the enzyme.
Q: We just received a Gourmet Standard triply-ply (copper bottom, aluminum core, stainless surface) set. I've read that aluminum is the better surface because it's curable. Is that true? And if so, is that worth considering? We're hoping this is a set we can grow with as cooks. If aluminum is the better choice...Thanks!
Hi, Copper is similar to aluminum in that it heats fast and even. Aluminum is very soft compared to stainless. Stainless has a reputation for being very hardy, sturdy and stain resistant. The aluminum cookware will get a stained bottom that contacts the burner and yes it is somewhat curable but not enough to make a difference. It will only affect the sticking of food more than taste. The short answer is that aluminum will cook better but not look as good as the stainless 10 years from now. If that is an issue go with the stainless.
Q: Balanced equation: 3Cu(SO4) + 2Al -gt; 2Al(SO4)3 + 3CuBeaker A: Mass of aluminum foil was 0.11g and moles of CuSO4 was 0.02mol.Beaker B: Mass of aluminum foil was 0.13g and moles of CuSO4 was 0.01molPlease explain howThanks so much!

Q: A 2x10^-3 mm thick square sheet of aluminum has 10cm x 10cm facesFind:1) The resistance between opposite edges on a square face.2) The resistance between two square faces.I'm having trouble figuring this one out since it is not a wire.
This is a job for resistivity and fully understanding what resistance is and how it is calculatedA wire is simple we all know it and the resistance is calculated using the equation R (rho) (l / A) where (rho) is the resistivity a physical property of a material in this case aluminumThe letter (l) represents the length of the wire and the A is the cross sectional area of the through which the current will flow, in the case of a wire it will flow through the surface area of a circle My suggestion to you is to draw out the rectangular prism twice once for each iteration of the problem then draw in the first one exactly what you're solving for Between opposite edges on a square face, imagine the object as a square piece of paper, with a given thicknessThis question is asking you to find the resistance if the current were flowing through the paper lengthwiseSo your cross sectional area would be the 10cm x (2x10^-3mm) remember SI units.Your length will be 10cmRho I'll let you research the resistivityI will also let you, using the tools provided figure out the second half of the questionTheres no fun in EE if you can't figure out the resistance of everything.
Q: i do not have any sockets, im not going to use tin foil, and i dont want to use an apple, any other ideas?
Mountain Dew Bong: Items needed: Metal Mountain Dew BottlePlain White Bic PenTin Foil/Aluminum FoilNeedle or small poking objectKnifeHow to: put a hole somewhere near the bottom of the mountain dew bottle not to big but big enough for the hollow pen shaft(take out the pen ink and ) to fit in, after that is in there if you want you can wrap some of the tin foil around that but not neededMaking the bowl: the end sticking out, you put the tin foil, first off you get a flat piece about an inch across, get a small needed or something to put in the center and stick it in the pen shaft and then bend the bowl up so your shake or bud won't fall out when your toking, then light up and suck it through the opening at the top, and if you want put another hole on the side for the carb thats optional- Aluminum Foil Pipe: Items Needed: Aluminum Foil PenHow To: Rip off a good 5x5 sheet of foil, make sure your pen is atleast 5 inches or more put your pen on one end of the foil, take the foil and roll it around the pen, using the pen as a rolling wheel after its all rolled up nice slide the pen out an inch or less and bend the foil up and open the foil up some, take out the pen and see if its suckable, put your bud in there and fire it up and suck, you got an nice foil pipe.
Q: for lamps shades
If your question is can you use ricepaper for lampshades? The answer is yesYou can also cut shapes from aluminum foil or light cardboard and glue them to the inside of the shade for a striking effectThe light will not shine through the foil or cardboard, but will shine through the rice paper.
Q: the barrel is 3/4 inch its alittle big and need to reduce it but dont have the moneyso in the mean time i might aswell use itanyone got any good ideas? all i got to use is cardboard paper and aluminum foil on hand to use oh and glue
This is the sort of case where a specialized real estate entrepreneur [shark] might actually be usefulWhat you want is someone who will take over the house subject to the existing mortgage(s)Oh, sure - the mortgage likely says that it is due on sale or transfer, and the Shark will handle that His method is simply to be honest and confront the lender - the property is underwater [negative equity], in part because of a bad lending decision that they have to stand up forHe proposes to take over the property subject to their lienHe intends to make all payments in full and on timeIs this a better deal for you (lender) than foreclosing on the property and eating the loss that will create? [Typically 20% or more of the loan amount.] Given all of the above, will lienholder waive the right to accelerate the loan? [NO - Shark will not legally assume the loan (substitute his credit for yours) unless the lienholder pays him to do that - typically by writing off (reducing) the principal due by at least 15% and reworking the interest rate downwardWhich they won't.] Despite what looks like a poor outcome [you still legally owe and the lienholder can still sue you for any payment shortage], you could well come out ahead - you move to somewhere significantly cheaper out of pocket while someone else makes the payments and does the worrying{PS What does Shark do? Depending on local laws, he does a lease to own deal with someone who has income but very poor creditTheir payments will be larger than what your payments were.} I'm sure there are any number of Sharks out there in your community, as there are everywhere in AmericaTypically, their sign says I Buy Homes[Disclosure: I am not not nor have ever been in the business of being a SharkI do know someNo, I will not refer you - which would violate the ethics of this forum.]
Q: I bought my daughter some old cookie cutters, and a mirro cookie press came with it.I can't find an instruction booklet anywhere. Can anyone help?
I'm sorry I am a little ignorant but I do not know what a 5 pence piece looks like nor do I know what type of sliding door(closet, garage, tool shed, etc.) you are talking aboutHowever, I may try fixing the dent by using a C clampThese clamps come in many sizes and all you need is to place a clamp on the dent and tighten until the dent is straighten outSometimes if the dent is larger than you place a piece of metal on both sides of clamp and tighten until straightenIf you cannot get a clamp on the door, remove door and lay on ground with wooden block on the bottom of dent and hammer on top of dent utilizing woodDo not hammer directly on door, hammer on woodSand area and spray paint utilizing metal paintGood Luck!
