- As long as she isn't too stressed out, is getting proper nutrition, and has a roomy cage, she will most likely not harm the babies. I used to breed mice for snake food and messed with the babies all the time. If you move them, the mom will just make a new nest. She might carry them to a different spot where she sees more fit, which is fun to watch, but if you want to remove them from the tube it should be safe :) Good Luck!!
