Q:will my PSone power cable work on my ps2?
i dont think so is the power cord plug in for the ps1 round like the ps2 never hurts to try tho
Q:The difference between power cable and overhead cable
. the power cable occupies less. Generally buried in the soil or laying in the room, the channel, the tunnel, the line between the insulation distance is small, no tower, covers an area, basically does not occupy the ground space. The overhead cable is the opposite. . power cable reliability. Affected by climatic conditions and the surrounding environment, transmission performance is stable, high reliability. . the power cable has to ultra-high pressure, large capacity development of more favorable conditions, such as low temperature, superconducting power cables. . the power cable distribution capacitor larger. Overhead cable is the opposite . the power cable maintenance work less overhead cable is the opposite . the power cable electric shock is unlikely. The overhead cable is the opposite
Q:My cousin gave me his old xbox but hes lost the cables so i asked one of my friends for his xbox cables to see if it still works and when i tried plugging it in the power wouldn't go in the xbox my cousin has is a halo 3 limited edition which is either an arcade or hes taken the hardrive and my question is, do all xbox-es have the same Cables for power etc and if not were can i get the right power cable for this console preferably bought in the uk
The 360's power supply is actually 2 parts. First is the cable that actually plugs into the wall. This is identical across all 360s, however the wall plug differs from country to country. Normally you can just get an adapter from the electronics store for this. However, the second part (the brick) is very different. First it differs depending on the country you're in, and then it differs depending on the specific model of 360 your have. Newer models don't need as much power, so their bricks output a lower amount of DC current. Also, the electrical system differs from country to country. In the US for instance, the power system runs on 120V but in most of Europe (including the UK) it's 220V. I do not know if the bricks are capable of adapting to both power systems. If not, plugging power brick from the US into the wall in the UK will damage the power brick and maybe even the 360. The Halo3 360 is one of the older models, while the Arcade is one of the newer ones. You may have damaged your 360 because the power brick sent too much power into the 360. You'll have to call Microsoft's support line so you can read the exact model numbers off the 360 and power brick to determine if they're compatible. They can probably also help you with obtaining a new cable or brick as well.
Q:What is the best tool or method in your opinion to locate cable damage causing current leak on several cables supplying outdoor lighting as detected by a tripping GFCI breaker. (Or water in a light obviously). Is there a meter that can measure that directly with the power off?
Ohm meter, to detect foreign ground on the wires or the fixture. Water on the line or the fixture will show up as a high resistance ground, versus a good ground.
Q:Doesn't have to be super powerful, just lifting about 100 pounds, frequently. I've already looked at the normal places, and they are all DC powered (car battery). I suppose it could also be manual.
Go on-line and look up Northern Tool. They have just about everything including an electric cable winch. Speaking of winches, do you want my ex, she has no power at all.
Q:What is the role of the power cable shield?
General cable shelf life is 10 years, look at the jacket and the insulation with or without cracks, shake the insulation resistance of the general do not breakdown can be used, but the best people to do some pressure test. The withstand voltage test must have been used.
Q:I'm extending one of my PSU power cables because is to short. the line got 2 black/1 yellow and 1 red (molex) I know the colors have to be matched but if at the other end I end up mixing the 2 black lines, will there be a problem?ps: I already sleeved the cable for that matter I can't see the 2 black cables inside and i forgot to mark them. :)
swapping the black wires will not cause any problems.
Q:Hi everyone,I attempted to build my first PC; purchased the hardware, software, etc. Everything is assembled perfectly. After installing the motherboard, power supply and the respective cards, I connect the power cable.Upon connecting the power cable, the PC turns on and the only way to turn it off is to remove the power cable (from the back of the PSU). The PC boots up as if I pressed the power button!!I've read that this problem could be the power supply or the capacitors on the board??I'd be appreciative for any advice,Thanks,p
Hmm that sounds like you have missplaced the cables to the motherboard from the front pannel (on switch, HDD led etc.) Kenny
Q:I was watching a YouTube video awhile ago and this guy was reinstalling his cables to his amp. I heard him say that he ran the RCA one on the opposite side of the car so there won't be anymore humming? I currently have my power, RCA ,and rem wires running from front to back on the driver side. Should I re run the RCA one on the passenger side? Will my system sound better?
i substitute into continually informed to not run capability next to RCA cables. when I ran my cables I ran capability on one side and speaker and RCA down the different side in my motor vehicle. It even says to do it this type in my amp handbook;Plan the twine routing. save RCA cables close jointly yet remoted from the amplifier's capability cables and any intense capability vehicle upload-ons, distinctly electric autos.it is performed to ward off coupling the noise from radiated electric fields into the audio sign.
Q:I need the cable for my TV to be longer. It uses a 10A 125W cable, and all I can find (at a price I like) are 13/15A cords. Is it okay to use this in conjunction with the 10A TV power cable? It will be plugged into a surge protector if that makes a difference...
The 10 amp and 13 amp ratings are just the maximum amount of current those cables are made for. Your TV will only use 2 or 3 amps, so both cables are fine.
