Q:I have a 2001 mercury sable ls and i ran all the wires from the deck to the amp which is in the trunk of my car; the system control wire, rca cables and the remote cable and everything. Everything except the system control wire is connected to the deck, every things set up on the amp. All i need to do is hook up the system control wire to the deck, but i don't know where it's supposed to go on the back of the deck. Also i don't have the power cable hooked up to the battery. I know it's gotta go through the firewall or something; one, i don't even know where that's located; and two, do i need to drill a hole?
The system control wire should go to the remote wire on your pioneer and it is probably blue as well. The firewall is the metal wall that seperates you from the engine. You may have a rubber grommet that you can use already there, you just need to cut a hole in it and pass the wire thru. If you have to drill a hole, use a punch and hit it with a hammer to mark where you want to drill. Then check the other side to make sure there is nothing in the wy. Using a sharp bit drill the hole. Place a grommet of the appropriate size in the hole to protect the wire from getting cut by the sharp metal and pass the wire thru the firewall. Make sure to put a fuse within 18 of the battery.
Q:How many types of cable models? What does each mean?
And divided by 200 to get the number of the trunk of this method seems wrong, it should be divided by 100; because the trunk are generally used 25 pairs, 50 pairs or 100 pairs of large logarithmic cable, a pair of first is a way voice signal, so you To 100 is the number of large number of patch panels you need Also remember whether it is divided by 24 or divided by as long as there are numbers behind the decimal point, all up to that, that is, if your answer is 211 words, then you have to use 22 patch panels
Q:A cable televisionElectric BlanketLighterLeaves ( Photosynthesis)Remote Control Bicycle GeneratorStereo SpeakerThanksss. :)
A cable television - (I assume you are speaking of a television attached a TV cable) electrical energy into magnetic energy, mechanical energy (speakers), light energy (photons), and heat. Electric Blanket - electrical energy into heat energy Lighter - mechanical to a sparking device(flint to spark due to mechanical scraping of steel over the flint causing heated flint to burn, burning flint to chemical energy of the gas in the lighter. Leaves ( Photosynthesis) - Ultraviolet radiation into sugars chemical energy storage Remote Control - If infrared remote control, then electrical energy to light energy (infrared photons) Bicycle Generator - mechanical to electrical Stereo Speaker - electrical to mechanical Hope this helps, Newton1Law
Q:Comcast just recently required that I get the Xfinity cable box which comes with a remote control. my question is if i have to use it or if there is a way to get my old remote control working with the cable box. The xfinity remote is pretty crappy compared to the universal remote I would like to be using.
You should have the manual for the universal remote, and it should tell you what types of equipment it will control and the codes for same. If it has codes for Comcast cable boxes, you may be able to make it work. Otherwise, either check different universal remotes or live with the Comcast one.
Q:I have cables already run. Confirmed they are mercury controls, but can not find what bracket or connector kit I need to hook them to 1986 Mariner 8M 6G1-S.
i have no idea mate i dont like beetles
Q:Hello, I have a flat panel tv and need to install my cable box behind it. However, if I do this the remote will not work because the cable box is hidden behind the tv. Is there anything I could do? Some kind of remote signal Amplifier? or some thing to bounce the remote signalor maybe some kind of a attachable remote signal eye that I can plug into the cable box? any idea?thanks
There are remote IR units for remote controls that can plug in usually with USB to some devices, not sure if you cable box will support them but mirrors will bounce an Infrared beam as long as you get the angle's right. The easiest solution would be to get longer component/coax or HDMI cables to go from your TV to your cable box relocate somewhere that isn't behind the tv, it will be much cheaper then the alternatives.
Q:I have Rogers. the cabled connecting my house fell in a storm. It's still connected but its partially on the ground.I've noticed that my bandwidth use has increased and i am not doing anything different than i have ever done before.I changed the wifi wep and havent noticed anyone on it other me.Is it possible that the wire being down is doing this. I stream a video that is 15 minutes long in a low quality and the next day my usage history says i used 1gb that day. but that video and some light browsing of social media was all i had done that day.
No, not directly. It might however do so indirectly, but in very rare circumstances. The only thing that might increase, was more control data traffic because the cable was damaged and therefore more data packets would have to be resent. In that case, you might notice that the maximum bandwidth has been reduced.
Q:I have a new TV and I am forced to use 2 remote controls? (One for Volume and the other for channels) Can anyone tell me how to sync one remote so I can change the channels and volume on just one remote? Thanks!
I'm guessing one remote controls the TV (for volume and input), the other the cable box (for channels). If the cable box's remote is capable of controlling the TV, you can find its instructions and train it to respond to the TV's power, volume, and input buttons. Different remotes have different ways of being trained, so I can't help you with specifics. If your cable box's remote can't be trained, I'd look for a universal remote that can control the TV and cable box. You don't necessarily have to buy the one with all of the gadgets, but you do need to find one that can be trained to talk to your TV and cable box without having to reach for them to access all but the most obscure commands. It's highly unlikely your TV's remote can control anything more than the TV it came with.
Q:What is the difference between cable KVV and VV?
KVV: PVC insulated jacketed control cable, laid in the room, cable trench, pipe and underground VV: PVC insulated jacketed power cable, laying in the room, tunnels and pipes, the cable can not withstand mechanical external force
Q:i have a cable box connected to my tv and on my cable control i cant put the volume up or down i have to use my tv control. what i want to know is how do u program the cable control so i can use it for the volume and not have to use the tv control?
All you may do it place your cable field at an attitude so it factors in the direction of the place you're sitting with the distant. Then placed the cable field next to the television no longer on suitable or below it. If pointing to the cable field is a concern it could be because of the fact your distant has susceptible batteries which you may interchange. or possibly you in simple terms could airborne dirt and dirt off the lens on the distant sensor of the cable field.
