Q:Water pump runs a lot?
It sounds like your pressure tank has gone bad. Your pump in (short cycling). The blue or silver tank that you have with the pump may or may not have a bladder inside. That bladder is to keep pressure in the line so the pump does not start so often. There is water on one side and air on the other. Sometimes there may not be enough air pressure on the air side. This usually means that the bladder has failed. It also could be that the pressure switch has gone bad or that the low pressure point setting(pump on) and the high pressure point setting (pump off) are set to close together. You will need to have a plumber check this out as soon as possible. If the pump continues to short cycle it will burn the pump out. Good luck.
Q:How do I know the pump pressure?
The "H=100M" in the parameter is the pressure index of the pump. "H" is the height of the head and the height of 100m. Since the 10M lift is approximately equal to 1Kg/cm2 pressure. Your pump is 10Kg/cm2 pressure.Q=18 M3/H, that is, 18 cubic meters of traffic per hour;H=100M, that is, rated head 100M, high head;P=4.0 KW, that is, the motor power is 4 kw.
Q:Why would a newly installed water pump leak?
Most drainage piping is tested with head pressure. All openings are plugged and the main stack is filled with water to the area specs (usually at least 8') When the inspector arrives, he watches the level for 5 or 10 minutes for approval. Water supply lines are tested with air and a gauge. Most plumbers are too busy to try to fix the tests so the inspector arrives when he is not there and passes or rejects the test. Compressed air is usually used to detect any leaks. I have always set up the test early in the day so I can tell if there is a problem rather than paying to have the system reinspected.
Q:Rover 75: When replacing head gasket should you replace the wet liners and water pump?
Well the answer is..... I am going to take a guess that this is a Rover K series engine. They blow the head gasket just for something to do. Terrible problem when the engine was a 1.4 and it only got worse as they bored the engines out. The original fault will be poor maintenance and a failure to ensure it always has loads of anti freeze or corrosion inhibitor in there. That makes the liner to block interface corrode. The second is more controversial, if I knew the water pump was fairly new then I would probably not fit a new one with an exchange engine. If however the water pump was old or an unknown quantity then I would almost certainly change it, and the clutch too, if I had the engine out as it's such a fiddly job to do. BUT who was paying for the work? If it was you then this would have added a fair bit to the bill (if you didn't tell him to change it then really you can't complain that he didn't do it) and it it was warranty work then the terms of the warranty might set out what was supposed to be done. Q:i have a montgomery ward sea king 5 hp outboard and need a water pump?

Q:Trouble with Cam Seals and Water Pump! Help!!?
these prices are correct for dealership quote. you will get a cheaper price with independent shop. your timing belt should be changed anytime after 75k miles. the timing belt and belt tensioner will break and you do not want to have replace the cyl. head, it's alot more money. the dealership lied about your water pump. that year the water pump runs off the drive belts not the timing belt. you can replace the water pump and not even touch your timing belt. your cam adjuster seal probably not leaking. what happens is the valve cover leaks oil on to the cam adjuster and is commonly mis-diagnosed. try just changing the valve cover gasket, clean up your excess oil and reinspect the seals on the back of your cylinder head after 500 miles. good luck.
Q:If you replace your water pump, once installed, can you ruin your engine if installed wrong?
a stuck open thermostat will cause the engine to run colder, this will trick the computer into thinking the engine still needs to warm up and the fuel mixture will stay very rich. that could explain the fuel mileage issues. I don't think the bolt is a problem. The hose at the top should be hotter than the bottom hose, that means your radiator is doing its job, cooling the engine's coolant before it goes back into the engine.
Q:Cost to replace water pump on a Saturn?
i doubt that your motor vehicle has 2 gasoline pumps yet till now you replace the pump have it examined first ! as nicely the pump it must be some thing else like the pump relay or the fuse ! no longer commencing ought to additionally be a clogged gasoline filter out ! getting back to the thermostat and water pump ! confident you are able to replace them in case you have the magnificent equipment and your robotically vulnerable !
Q:The problem of single phase pumps
The capacitor is broken. Change it.
Q:Need a new water pump, should i get an electric?
Not sure where your shopping, but I could have sworn water pumps were more than that at least the ones I buy. And yes, I do not buy aftermarket parts since I do not like replacing the same part over over again every month!!!!!!! I would advise you if you do not want to replace the engine down the road for overheating, I would stick with factory water pump leave the electric pump idea alone!!!!! Last time I checked on those, they were more than $50.00 also.
