3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

Mix up a very little bit of dishwashing liquid (a few drops) in a bucket of water. Blot, scrub, press out as much water as you can. If it really won't come out, try a little bit of OxyClean stain remover, water, bucket, clean towels to blot up the extra water.

Don t buy the notion of the big brand stain blockers are better, They are all the same. You don t pay for the advertising dollars of the no name stain blocker. Thickness in carpet only counts in the amount of yarns per square inch . Thickness in tallness do not always make a better carpet. Its the twists per thread length that make the better carpet. The actual truth is the shorter, the tighter ( twists) the better the carpet.And if the twists are heat set in. Ask a salesperson about this. If they know or can look it up then talk more with them. It would have been great as a rug if I'd had enough fabric, but it had a great rag look to it! I think I used HUGE needles, size 19 or 35 to make it. This was a lot of fun, and the project was made VERY quickly!
