- Why in the world would you want to listen to your music through such a tiny, crappy little speaker ?!?!?! why not just get some headphones? in fact i think all ipods come with a free pair of the white apple earphones. I actually upgraded to a more expensive pair but that's just me. If you are wanting to listen out loud then just get a stereo receiver and some speakers. Or even one of those cheap in a box speaker sets will sound way better and louder than a build in ipod speaker!! lol.
