Q: What is counter weight? How kinds?
A: Counter weight is for balance the suspension mechanism. There are 2 kinds of counter weight, one is made by iron, the other is by concrete.
Q: What is the function of the monitor?
A: Monitor, namely inspection system (like black box), which could store 10000 tower crane operation reports, and it is recommended to be installed in big cranes more than 16t.
Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?
A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.
- Q:What do lattice boom and hydraulic boom in cranes mean?
- LATTICE BOOM: See first link. This is where the boom (the portion used to support the load) is made like a lattice ... i.e. interconnected trusses and girders. The cables for lifting the load are run from the base of the boom to the load over pulleys/gears located at the boom's tip. The boom itself is NOT adjustable in length or in angle. HYDRAULIC BOOM: See second link. This crane uses hydraulics to adjust either the length of the boom, or the angle at which the boom joints intersect. It looks more like a single beam construction, although its probably closer to a tube type design (hydraulics may be inside or outside the arm). The load is raised/lowered by cables operating at the end of the boom ... not necessarily tied back to the bottom of the boom.

- All Karate contains elements of White Crane Fist. There are some - only a couple to a few of the actual Chinese Crane forms that have survived and are practiced by the Okinawans. This is my reason for searching for a White Crane teacher from the original location and lineage - Yong Chun Village in Fukien, and I found him. Yong Chun (actually Eng Chun) is the Fukienese pronounciation of Wing Chun - another art that descended from White Crane. I am currently practicing the Sam Chien - Sanchin form. Goju Ryu also contains elements of Southern Mantis, 18 Lohan fist and Shantung Black Tiger. These techniques were incorporated into the Indigenous Okinawan Grappling Art called Ti or Di to form what is today called Karate. You will find some people who claim they teach the secret Hakutsuru of Okinawa. There are some forms that were fashioned after the White Crane but are not actual White Crane Froms. They are not bad... maybe better than alot of other BS out there. I just want the real thing.

- First of all, let's think of a crane like a giant see-saw, where the plank itself doesn't have any weight. Now cranes have big weights on one side of the pivot, which they can move along (I think, I may be wrong). These cause what is called a 'turning moment'. The further out from the 'pivot' they are, the greater the moment. The other consideration with a crane is it's load. Generally, this is carried a lot further out from the pivot point, on the opposite side from the weights. Now consider this. If you have a small child sitting on the end of a see-saw, you will be able to balance them with a larger person sat closer to the pivot. This is the principle on which cranes work. The moment is the force times the distance from the pivot, and it must be balanced turning each way for the see-saw/crane not to topple. This is somewhat of a simplification, but hope it helps.

- You need to do a specific amount of hours in training to be a crane operator in Australia, I know that in Sydney, you are certified by the WorkCover Authority, or that's how it was many yeas back. Special emphasis is on loads, and point of load. We do not need a mobile crane tipping over do we. Safety, working near electrical, and on soft ground. Weight you can extend to on a jib. etc.

- i am not a crane driver myself , but into this field of construction . get a licence as driver from authority just as a car driver. know how to drive the crane ad a driver know how to operate a crane as a operator. know the performance of the crane and its limits. the salary can vary depending on the type of crane and its special features. but not in the high end grade for sure unless its a very specialised crane operation. u can ask any thing more .
