Q:I want to make my home as energy efficient as possible, But I am not going to replace my leaded glass windows with storm widows, or my siding on my homeI am redoing the interior of my home, and will be adding some insulation, the blown in cellulose, has settled in the walls and the top half is not insulated wellSO, do I add a vapor barrier on the inside of the wall after the insulation, or do I not worry about itThis remodel involves three rooms on my main level at this timeI will work on the rest of the home later as time and $$ allow, but want to do this right the first timeThanks for any insight/thoughts that you might have.

Q:This is for a construction materials classI need to compair the r-factor of this wall to the r-factor of a 3 1/2quot; ridgid foam insulation wall.
Al has a positive (+) charge because it has more protons than electrons
Q:I want to put a patch on this beanie(100% acrylic(wool feel))what kind of glue do you recommend to use to put it on it.
I would sew it onGluing won't work very good or too long.Yarn has loose fiber hairs making gluing a bad idea.
Q:How do I crochet a scarf like this?
The scarf you picture is not crocheted, but woven fabric insteadThat being said you could create something similar in crochetI would recommend a light weight yarn as the scarf looks quite drapey, and anything too thick would result in something too bulky and stiffPerhaps a sport weight or dk weight would work, with maybe a G hookTo create that multi stripe look, I would crochet it longways, meaning make your beginning chain the length that you want the completed scarf to be then swap out colors every row or two as you desire to make the stripingYou could finish it by fringing the edges, maybe bead the ends of the fringeYou could either buy sparkly yarns or you could get a carry along thread in silver which you would hold with your working yarn to create that sparkleHope this helps!
Q:I can't sleep in a hot houseI may be the only person, but I prefer my room to be 55-50, almost like a freezerWith a pile of blankets and pillows, and a completely dark roomAll of that for me equals the best sleep ever.
My preferred temperature is 60-65 degrees with blanketsI can't stand rooms that go above 73 degrees while sleeping.
