Q:im making a book for my girlfriend for her birthday?
3-4 monthsAlso, you might brown some up with onions and garlic and freeze that also, for quick easy meals when time is short.
Q:Like in combat which makes better gloves boots.Leather you have to sow so it makes it harder to move especially with gloves. But rubber doesn't breath.
Probably notThe wax will melt, which could be a problem for your recipe.
Q:I'm getting a lamb next month and I plan on washing it with Mane N Tail shampooBut what kind of washing brush should I buy? Should it have soft bristles or stiff ones? If you know please help, and if there is one you recommend that'd be great! Thanks
Head material does NOTHINGIt is the DESIGN of the heads that is importantWHAT kind of car is this??Aluminum heads can crack easier depending upon WHO makes the heads and for what applicationExpect NO real improvementThere are OTHER considerations, like intake systemcam shoice, compression ratio, and other factor5sGOOD LUCK!!
Q:i have a small inguinal hernia, my doc said i shoild be able to delay surgery so i can continue playing hockeynow can i go to physical therapy to strenghten my groin and could that help the hernia slip back into place, also if i do have to get surgery how ling will i be out of hockey
People reload steel all the timeAs long as it isn't Berdan primed it's not a problemAluminum, OTOH, corrodes to an extreme degree at the high heat and pressure presentThe structure is compromised to much by even a single firing.
Q:is roofing paper the thicker the better for flat roof, also what glue to use for the roofing?
The most common roofing material for a flat roof is tar and gravelThe hot tar is mopped onto the roof, roofing felt is rolled down onto the hot tar, then more hot tar is mopped down on top of the roofing feltFinally, a thin layer of pea-sized gravel is spread over the tarThe purpose of the gravel is to prevent the sun from bleeding the volatile gas out of the tar, leaving it brittle and crackingRoofing paper, to my knowledge is stapled onto a sloped roof under shingles to prevent warm moist air from the house from rising up and condensing moisture under the shingles which can cause rotting of the wood - and if it freezes can build up as ice, then rain into your attic when it thawsProper ventilation of the attic is essential to prevent formation of ice in winter and to help keep the house cool in summer - whether you have a flat roof or a sloped oneI should also mention that there is now available much superior roofing materials for flat roofsSome comes in a roll which is rolled out, stapled down, then torched on with a tiger torchOthers come in 4'x8' panels with extra insulation and a flap on 1 end and 1 sideThe flaps are then torched onto the adjoining panels These materials will last up to 40 years or more, while a well-maintained standard tar and gravel roof fails in about 20 years(Maintenance consists of regularly adding tar and gravel where it looks thin.)
Q:Ok, I just recently moved into a garageIt is super hot in here (as i figured) so i bought a protable 9,500 BTU Portable A/C UnitWell, that pulled it from 107 to 91The garage itself has No insulationI was wondering, if i got insulation in ONLY the ceiling, how much cooler could i get it.
Some, but you're still going to draw heat through the wallsFor best results, insulate and rock the walls, insulate the ceiling, and install an insulated doorHope this helps.
Q:This is actually a two part question.I have a walkup attic that will eventually be finished when I get the timeCurrently inside the attic there is insulation on the floor joists but nothing along the roof raftersEssentially it's a triangle with insulation only at the bottomAnyways the roof rafter measurement is a 2x6 spaced 16 on centerThe highest r value I can find that will fit is R19Now I know it should have a higher r value but that will not allow me to finish it offDo you think r 19 would be better than nothing or should I not even bother and save my moneyBlown in is currently not an option.Second question: I have ridge and soffit ventsI know I need to use baffles, however the salesman at Lowes told me I only need them at the top of the rafters where the vent is and just one on each side where the soffit is and not the entire length of insulationIs this true? The rafters are about 14 feet in length where the baffle measures at about 4 feet.
Hello Fraz You already asked this question in different wording and I answered itI stress again: Do NOT fill the space between the roof rafters completely with insulationThere MUST be air flow between the roof boards and teh insulationIf there is no air flow, moisture will build up in the insualtion and cause the roof rafters to rot and also could cause moldBoth will end up costing more money than you would ever wish to spend and create a health and safety problem as wellMy answer: You MUST leave a space between the insulation and the roof fro cross ventilation Do NOT cover the ridge vent or completely fill in the space between the rafters There should be vents in the soffitThe air must be able to flow from the oiffit vents to the ridge vents This cross ventillation also helps to keep the roof a little cooler in the summer which will extend the life of your roofing material Without this space, the insulation will eventually become moist and loose its insulation value and will contribute to other problems such as wood rot and mold You can nail 1 X 2 strapping to the roof raftersNail flat against the roof rafters and tight to the roof boardsThis will give you a 1 1/2 inches space from the roof boards to the lower edger of the 1 X 2 strapping Place house wrap across the roof rafters by stapling it to the 1 X 2 strapping edgeThe house wrap can wrap around the roof rafters or you can cut it in strips so it fits between the roof raftersFill the remaining space with the proper size of insulationIf there is 3 1/2 inches from the edge of the 1 X 2 to the inside edge of the roof rfter, use insulation batts that are 3 1/2 inches; no thicker, no thinnerYou want the space fill completely without pushing the house wrap into the rir space.
Q:This has what the past three days have been like:For breakfast I'll eat Raisin Bran OR some fruitAt lunch, I'll eat a small salad with a tiny bit of dressing and drink some waterI'll also have some fruit or goldfish. For dinner I'll eat another small salad with fruit OR a lean pocket.I've been going for 20 minute jogs, alsoWill I lose weight if I continue to do this?
Well, i live far up north, but what we do to try not to get winter coats is start blanketing in the fall with a fall sheet, then when it gets colder use a winter sheetTalk to your local tack store to help you pick the right one out for your horseIf your horse does get a winter coat you can also ways clip him.
Q:What is the use of ceramic fiber rope?
Ceramic fiber rope is interweaved with quality ceramic fiber. It is widely used in chemical industry, electricity, paper-making, food, pharmacy, etc., as well as sealing of furnace door, high temperature &pressure engine, pump and valve. And it is applicable to various medium, such as clean fluid or slurry, saline water, emulsion, oil, hydrocarbon, solvent, paper pulp, etc.
Q:I have curly hair but I think I look better with straight hair it would be a lot easier to manage if it were straightI have thought about getting it professionally straightened but am pretty ignorant about how it worksCould someone explain how they do this and if there is more than one method that hairdressers use? The reason I am worried about doing it is because I don't hate my curly hair and I would like to be able to return to my natural texture and don't want crazy half-curly half-straight hairCould straightening it alter the texture of my hair permanently? How long would a treatment last and how would I go about getting it back to normal?
Perms and relaxers are permanent until your hair grows outThe chemicals open the cuticle of your hair, and re arrange the bonds of your hair (chemical structure) to a new formationIt is very damaging, and yes, you would have half curly on top, and half straight on the bottom if you let it grow outYou could get a reformation curl, where your hair is relaxed chemically, then wrapped on large rods and processed againThis will make your curl much looser and more controllable.but very damagingYou could simply use thermal protectant, and choose either a wide barrel curling iron (one and a half inches in diameter) and make loose waves, or use a flat ironUsing a thermal protectant and light mousse blow dried in first can make either last a few days to a week, until you wash your hair (your hair's hydrogen bonds reform when wet and will revert to it's natural curly state)In between stylings, or when your hair's in it's natural state, leave-in conditioners and monthly protein treatments can keep your hair healthier from heat stylingIt's a little more maintenance, but it will give you the most styling options daily, while keeping the damage to a minimumRevlon makes a large barrel iron that unlocks and converts to a flat ironIt is also ceramic which is less damaging than straight metalYou can get it at Walmart!!
