FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:to TILE or NOT to tile....?
I would definitely tile! especially with children in the house. I still love the idea that my teenage boys' bathroom is STILL tiled! and who says it has to be old fashioned? only if you are using 3x3 white tiles. use bigger, more earthy toned tile. even if you can't afford travertine, you can still get look-a-like ceramic! Good luck to y'all!
Q:can ceramic wall tiles be laid from the ceiling down?
measure the wall height and measure the tile. Split the difference so that you don't have a sliver of tile at the end of you installation. Take a level and draw a line in the center of the wall as a divider for tile layout. Make sure again you have at least a good amount of a tile at the bottom and the top. You can start from that line using tile adhesive. Don'r glob it on use an 1/8th inch tooth trowel. You dont need thin set except for a floor. BTW the best rock to use in this area is purple board. It resists mold. Good Luck
Q:Removing VCT tiles off of Hardwood floors?
Try a product like Goof Off first. They sellit at Home Depot or Lowes. It cost about $4.00 for a 16 oz can. Wipe on liberally with a cloth and wait a few minutes and scrub off with same cloth. It does have a somewhat harsh smell at first, so make sure adequate ventilation is available especially for a child. I am a contractor and have used this on several types of floor adhesives, but of coarse there are some that will need to be sanded.
Q:Help.. removing thinset tile mortar from drywall?
muriatic acid - at home crappot or lowe's
Q:do i have to use backer board to tile backsplash?
Yes, if you want the tile job to hold up. The backer board must be water resistant because of the location. It is rigid and gives a firm solid surface to lay the tiles on - otherwise they'll eventually start coming off and you'll have to re-do the job.
Q:replace vinyl tile bathroom floor wth ceramic tile.?
Yes its best to remove everything but the cement board is 3/8 to 1/2 in. thick and the tile being placed on it is about a 1/4 to 3/8 depending on the amount of thin set used. Can you place a threshold down at the doorway to accommodate for this difference in height? And if the wood below the tile floor is not at least 1 in. thick then the flexing of the floor will always cause cracking of the grout lines if not the tiles them self. These are a couple things people overlook when wanting a tile floor. Good Luck
Q:which is best for bathroom floor tile? Ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble?
This Site Might Help You. RE: which is best for bathroom floor tile? Ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble? I want to replace the existing ugly linoleum/vinyl floor in my bathroom with tile. With the right information and tools, I don‘t see why I can‘t do it myself. Any ideas on the pros and cons of different types of tile? What‘s least likely to get scratched, and what is least likely crack...
Q:Tile throughout the house?
wanting to change guest bedroom with tile or laminate flooring.. Have tile through out house. Any idea of what would look best?
Q:What is the best tile for concrete basement floors?
Either will be fine for a residential setting. Installed properly both will last for years to come. Neither will break if installed properly if something is dropped on them. You can possible get top chips if a heavy object is dropped and both will show the inner body core unless you buy a true porcelain and not the average porcelain glazed tile. Unless you have major moisture problems tile can be used any time. Some moisture ( if any) will wick up and dissipate as normal. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
Q:painting over ceremic tile?
Don't do it. Remove the old tile and start over. You have to live with this for a long time (I'm assuming you own). Don't live with something thats not what you want. Even if you think down the road at resale value....a painted tile (I don't think you can even do it) would be a real black mark against the property.
