FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:I clean a church and all the cleaners I have tried on the tile floor, leaving it streaky.. Does anyone know of anything that would work? Thanks!
Honestly I know this might sound retarded but have you tried the Swifer? It has worked for me on many things.
Q:How do you use tiles? I‘m sure it‘s easy, but I don‘t know how to use them yet. They look pretty complex. Thanks. I appreciate it.
it isn't really as easy as you'd think. 1. create a background 2.make sure to check the box labeled Use as tile set 3.open up the room you want the tiles to appear in 4.there should be some tabs below the upper left corner 5.click on Tiles 6.under the big gray blank space(wich is just below the tabs) there should be a place to select the tile you want to use 7.after selecting the tile the gray empty space should show the tile. 8.click in the room on the spot you want the tile. remember, tiles are basicly drawings. so objects sometimes go over or under them. experiment with the layers to solve this :)
Q:i have just bought a house and my ceiling tiles needs cleaning. i would like to know if anyone out there knows what i can use to clean them. the ceiling tiles has dust but also has mildew on some of them. i don‘t want to replace them, i just want to clean them for now. thank you everyone.
The one thing I can suggest to you is go to a place that deals with ceiling tiles and they will let you know what to use to clean them. I understand this a just for now project, but do consider what is the reason for the mildew even if you replace the tiles at a later date. If someone suggests to paint them then you're really going to have to ask the experts. If you use the wrong paint you can loose the acoustics. There are certain kinds of paints to use for ceiling tiles. I hesitate to tell you to use soap and water, because I don't know what the out come will be. It's like if you use too much of anything what will the results be. Same with soap and water regarding ceiling tiles. I may be making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I think you need to go to any hardware dept. that deals with ceiling tiles and get some straight answers before moving on, even if this is a temporary fix.
Q:We had new ceramic tiles put in the shower. The tiles are large size (12x12) and the grout line is about the width of a pencil. After a few days we noticed very thin (hairline) cracks in the grout, especially around the shower bench and the corners of the shower. The tiles are all in place. I think the contractors mixed the grout too thin. Can I just sand those areas of grout down a bit and then put new grout on top of it over those areas?
Humm... this could be a couple of problems, the shower bench.... if the cracks are between the vertical tile (bench) to the wall tile... this could be that the contractor did not support the bench correctly... but this is not unusual... Do you heat the shower up with the water hitting the bench and not the wall? This will cause the bench to heat up and if you sit on the bench... it will flex with your weight... again this is not unusual.... the grout is cement... hard/solid... this will not give. The cracks will always appear... if you have the exact color of the grout you may get lucky and be able to purchase a elastomeric caulk which is used for flexible points in tile installations... example of this is normally used for bath tubs to tile installations where you have the expansion and contractions of the iron tubs compared to the tile floors/walls.... Heat from the tub will expand and the tile will not. It should be the responsibility of the contractor to repair the problem but not an unusual problem. If the contractor will not return... you may have the warranty issue. I would remove the grout and install the elastomeric caulk. At the home centers you may decide to get a grout removal tool to dig out the grout or there are power tools with the special bits to do it faster... but they have their own problems with scratching the tile edges... take your time if you do it.... Get the vendor information on the grout and check if they have matching color elastomeric caulk.... the original grout mixing is not the problem.
Q:She worked at a steady rate after the first day.Use an equation in point-slope form to determine how many days Lizzy took to place all of the 100 tiled needed to finish the floor,
She laid 5 tiles the first day, and 10 tiles each day thereafter: x = number of days Lizzy has worked laying tiles Total Tiles = 5 + 10(x-1)] Test this equation with the information you are given: 35 = 5 + 10(4 - 1) = 5 + 10(3) = 5 + 30 = 35 <<<<< TRUE So, now you can solve the problem. However, it is unclear to me whether Lizzy needs to lay 100 MORE tiles, or 100 tiles, total.... 100 = 5 + 10(x - 1) 100 = 5 + 10x - 10 100 - 5 + 10 = 10x 105 = 10x 10.5 = x It takes Lizzy 10.5 days to lay 100 tiles. 135 = 5 + 10(x - 1) 135 = 5 + 10x - 10 135 - 5 + 10 = 10x 140 = 10x 14 = x It takes Lizzy 14 days to lay 135 tiles.
Q:We currently have carpet throughout our house, but due to having dogs, we hate the carpet. While hardwood or laminate seems the logical choice, tile would hold up much better to their toe nails. My concern is how having tile throughout the entire house (even in the living room, computer room, bedrooms, etc) would look. I know it is done sometimes, but I just can't picture it in my mind. How do you feel about it? Would the tile (it would be very neutral in color) be okay through the entire house or should we go with laminate deal with the scratches when/if they happen?
wanting to change guest bedroom with tile or laminate flooring.. Have tile through out house. Any idea of what would look best?
Q:The people who owned my house before me tiled the kitchen floor with slippery ceramic tiles (like the ones on your bathroom walls) and the slightest couple of drips of water create a truly hazardous situation. Is there anything you can buy to make such a floor non-skid without making it look hideous ?
If the tiles that were used were indeed the 4 1/4 inch shinny (wall) tiles, they are not recommended by the manufacturer for use on any floor.but i looked on line and found a few products .slip tech was one. i'm not sure if any topical product will work or not on a shinny surface as yours and what it may look like.if you decide to do this, try the product out in an test area first, preferably in a out of sight spot. if you want to look online ,i looked at floor tile+non slip coating and hit search
Q:i was pouring grout on my tile floor and it dryed too fast. how can i get rid of it?
Moisten the joints between the tiles with a little bit of water. This makes the grout naturally flow into the crevices and away from the face of your tile. Work in small sections, cleaning the surface of the tile as you go. The longer you wait, the more the grout will set and the harder it will be to remove. Clean the tiles with a damp sponge. After you apply the grout to the joints of the tiles, use a damp sponge to wipe the surface of each tile clean. You may want to go over it a few times to make sure that no excess grout remains. Sweep all the grout to one area, and then wipe it with a rag if necessary. Find a pH balanced cleanser. If grout or residue still remains on the tile, use a gentle cleaner to scrub the surface. If you left the grout on too long and it cured on the tile, you may need an acid-based solution.
Q:I am about to renewing my kitche.I plan to install tile.Well I have no tile cutter but I do have a simple, regular cutt off electrical tools and a diamond blade.Should this be enough for it?

Q:I‘m on a tight budget but some people say tile is better I dont know which is best and will last longer and easy to maintain Any ideas what to do?
Tile looks better, but linoleum is cheaper. Linoleum can bubble up too. I pulled up my living room carpet and have nothing but the hard wood floor now, it needs finished or something else put down, but I don't have the money right now, I'm just waiting to get enought money to put down some laminate wood. You could wait and save for tile or just go with the linoleum if you want it done right away. Good luck!
