wire glue is not a good alternative to soldering but may temporally work best bet is to solder it go to any hardware store, walmart, target, kmart to get a soldering iron

It should be the BLK/ LB wire (although my wiring schematic shows that wire BLK/ GREEN), It will be the only circuit that have a varying voltage between 0-1 volt. Probe the wires with a DVOM and determine which wire has the signal, one wire will supply B+ for the heater, one is heater ground, one is reference supply voltage and one is signal return The signal return is the circuit you need to tap.

Jtex has the right answer if you bought the right solenoid. Unfortunately- the Ford automotive solenoid is an exact replica, but wired different. So less you got the part from Mercury -your going to burn wires as the Ford puts power to one of the small terminals and the Mercury wants a ground to the same terminal as it's ground is regulated by the neutral no start switch.

The injector wiring is easy to find. First remove the air cleaner and filter. Underneath you will see two walnut shaped metal items with two wires going to each of them. This is the injectors. You will almost always use copper. We need more data to give you a good answer. How much current are you going to carry? What frequency signals are you going to carry? Stiff wire is solid and easily bendable is stranded.
