Q:1985 SS Monte Carlo engine wires?
I have an '84 Monte SS and wanted the same thing. Here's what I have: the 2 wires that come from the harness and go to the starter (1 Positive, 1 S terminal), oil gauge wire, temp gauge wire, the alternator wires, the wire going to the distributor cap, and the tach gauge wire going to the distributor cap. That's pretty much it, as well as your battery cables, and spark plug wires. You really don't need to do or add anything as long as it runs and everything works that needs to work, it'll be fine. I'm going by memory, so if I forgot something I apologize, but that's the best of my recollection right now. If you have anymore questions you can email me.
Q:Which wire goes with which wire on the other side? (Foto)?
It's not just your oven that makes a difference, but the year your oven was manufactured in AND the country it was manufactured in that makes a difference. It was easy to identify your supply wires as Brown = live wire; Blue = return (neutral) wire; green/yellow = earth ground, and this is single phase wiring. There would be an orange wire for 3 phase... ...but the oven wiring conforms to a different standard of gray - white -red where red is possibly the ground line, while the other two are your live and return wires, with the gray likely to be the return wire....BUT...in some time periods, the red wire was the live wire. Your best bet is to test the oven wiring out with a multi-meter and look at what color of wire is connected to where. The earth ground should be connected to the oven's cabinetry; the live wire would be wired to the oven's internal fuse or circuit breaker, and then wired to the business end of the heater elements, timers, etc. The return wire would be connected to the other side of the elements and timers. Your most reliable way to address this is to consult a professional. That second link I posted has both old and new French wiring standards, and neither match your oven. And if your oven isn't manufactured in France, you have yet another level of wiring code to unscramble.
Q:Spark Plug Wire Problems?
I have to agree with striped tomato he's right on the money, It's ok to to put nthe plug wires on the way you did it (short to long) how ever you most have placed one of the wires in the wrong spot, just recheck your wires you will be back on the road shortly,By the way your coil pack should be numbered #1 cylinder is next to the coil pack The short wire , next to that is # 3 then #4 and the long wire is # 2.
Q:house thermostat light-green wire used for?
The standard wiring for Heat/Cool T-stat. Is as follows Red 24 volts to the T-stat. White to the heat. Green to the fan relay. Yellow to the condenser.
Q:2006 chevy avalanche wiring diagram?
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Orange Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Yellow Car Radio Ground Wire: Black Car Radio Illumination Wire: Brown Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Gray Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: N/A Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A Car Stereo Amplifier Location: N/A Car Audio Front Speakers Size: N/A Car Audio Front Speakers Location: N/A Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Tan Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Green Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: N/A Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: N/A Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Light Blue This is the audio wiring for the avalanche.Best of luck.
Q:True or False? Three Phase Wiring?
False! If you had 6 120v circuits each circuit has 1 phase, 1 neutral conductor and 1 ground conductor for a total of 3 wires per circuit. 6 circuits times 3 conductors equals 18 wires. You don't use the same neutral conductor for different phases but you can if they are the same phase provided you don't go over the maximum allowed current rating for that wire and insulation.
Q:is copper wire an insulated wire?
You must use insulated wire.
Q:Wiring need to know if you can wire the to types of wire together?
more detail please ? I don't know what malibu lights are, but low voltage lights can be fed from a mains adapter which is plugged into a mains extension socket. Its generally a bad idea to take mains leads outside though, unless it's just for a temporary piece of work in dry weather. If what you mean is: can mains cable be used for low voltage, then yes that's ok as long as it's just the cable it doesn't have a mains plug on it.
Q:stove wiring?
dont even attempt to wire it up. call an appliance service and they can test the wires for current and properly wire it up.
Q:Three Way Switch wiring connection question.?
John has described the three way circuit for you. Your description matches his description. Good paradigm for amateur fiddlers with wiring: If it works, don't try to fix it.
