- Q:i have a 300x1 @ 4ohm and 600x1 @ 2ohms, i wanna hook it up at 2 ohms what gauge wiring kit should i get?
- well,i didnt know what kind of amp that you have,so probably its true 300w or not. but my suggestion is for your own equipment safety you should use min. 4 ga with 50a, coz i see here you try to bridge it. try tsunami they good and real 4ga if they said 4ga.
- Q:Given following setup of three wires in the plane of the page with I1 = 1.3 A (to the right), I2 = 3.4 A (to the right), I3 = 4.5 A(to the left) and each wire is separated by 3 m.I'm completely lost, I need to..1. What is the direction of the magnetic field at wire 3 due to wires 1 and 2?2. What is the direction of the force on wire 3 due to wires 1 and 2?Any help would really be appreciated! Thanks!
- I assume that those wires are sitting parallel 3 m apart from one another. 1. The magnetic field around a wire forms concentric circles around the wire. Wire 1 and Wire 3 are parallel so when you draw a concentric field line around Wire 1 with radius 6 m, you get a magnetic field line passing Wire 3 at a right angle. And a concentric field line around Wire 2 with radius 3 m passes Wire 3 at a right angle. Both magnetic fields have the same direction because the current in both wires flows in the same direction (to the right). Using the right-hand rule, you can find that the magnetic field at wire 3 due to Wire 1 and Wire 2 goes into the page. Ans: Into the page 2. The force on a wire can be calculated in the following manner: I X B * L. Here I is the current on Wire 3, B is the magnetic field due to Wire 1 and Wire 2, L is the length of Wire 3, and X is the cross product operator. So I cross B would give the direction of the force. Now use the right-hand rule, I cross B will give the force direction pointing down. This means the force due to the magnetic field would repel Wire 3 from Wire 1 and Wire 2. Ans: The force on Wire 3 due to Wire 1 and Wire 2 would repel Wire 3 from them.
- Q:I have 12/3 wire running from the breaker box on a 20 amp breaker that powers a bathroom (2 lights and 2 receptacles). I want to splice into this and run 14/2 wire into the living room to run 6 recessed lights. Is this OK to do?
- No, that is against code. Splicing is not allowed nor can you use a lesser gauge on a circuit. To clarify: splicing exposes otherwise insulated wire. The splice has to be done properly such that no wire is exposed, the splice is hardened and this is achieved using a junction box of NEMA appropriate to the installation conditions. A 20A circuit for a bathroom means there is an exhaust fan since a couple of lamps and receptacles do not normally call for that much. That means the circuit has to be able to support 20A and that means the entire circuit. If you extend the circuit using lesser gauge wire than you downgrade the circuit's ability to handle current. This is a fire risk and is a strict no-no.
- Q:I know what spark plugs are and where they are... but not sure what is meant by wires...For example checking/replacing spark plugs and wires to see if a problem is fixed..Are wires what hookup to the spark plugs from the (distributor?)
- they are not called wires ,spark plug leads or ht leads , ht stand for high tension leads wich are mostly silcon based corbon fiber
- Q:A 5.07 m length of 2.1 mm diameter wire carries 703 mA current when 22.3 mV is applied to its ends. Determine the resistivity of the wire.
- Resistance of a wire in Ω R = ρL/A ρ is resistivity of the material in Ω-m L is length in meters A is cross-sectional area in m? A = πr?, r is radius of wire in m Use current and voltage to determine resistance. Plug that into the above and solve for ρ. Be sure to change numbers into meters.
- Q:And i am unsure on how to wire the speakers. Do i just splice the wires from the speakers to the corresponding wires on the harness. P.S. It is not actually in a boat, it will be connected to a 12v battery.
- U JUST RUN THE HOT(RED) WIRE TO THE BATTERY. U ALSO MIGHT HAVE TO HOOK UP THE MEMORY WIRE(YELLOW WIRE) AND THE REMOTE ( SOLID BLUE) WIRE TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY AS WELL BEACAUSE SOME RADIOS WONT TURN ON WITHOUT THESE WIRES COONECTED. THE WHITE AND GREY WIRES ARE THE FRONT AND THE GREEN AND PURPLE ARE THE BACK SPEAKERS. YOU SHOULD GET THE WIRING HARNESS FOR THE WIRING IF ITS GOING IN A CAR LIKE A JEEP THEN ALL U GOTTA DO IS MATCH THE COLORS UP ITS EASY . BUT STRAIGHT TO A BATTERY DO IT THAT WAY JUST MAKE SURE U HAVE A GOOD GROUND.
- Q:Is there a Martial Arts / Fighting style that uses wires or whats the practices that uses wires called?
- There is no martial art/fighting style that uses wire. You are probably talking about stage combat. It's choreography and uses wires.
- Q:ok so i have 3 questions.i have an oldsmobile cuttlas supreme and i have a 0 gauge power wire that is 17 feet is that long enough???? and i have 0 gauge ground that is 17 feet is that long enough....and about the speaker wire..i have 8 gauge speaker wire that is 25 feet..is this a good setup.make sure u answer all these questions please thank you..
- that sounds plenty fine.
- Q:I need the wiring diagram for the 1992 Lexus ES300 OE Stereo.I specifically need to know what colors (or numbers) the wires are for the front right and front left bottom door speaker.
- Here ya go, 1994 Lexus ES300 Car Audio Wiring Diagram Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Gray Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Blue/Red Car Radio Ground Wire: Brown Car Radio Illumination Wire: Pink/Blue Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: N/A Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: N/A Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: Pink/Blue Car Stereo Amplifier Location: Right of the glove box. Good Luck!
- Q:The 1992 camry wiring diagram comes up to about 19 wires, my stock stereo that I unplugged from the back on the harness has about 14, and it has 3 black wires 2 brow, 2 green and 2 red, the others only have one wire, why is this?
