Q:What is swagelock fitting?
25 bar is a lot of water pressure. What is the actual operating pressure? For 25 bar, I would make the jump to 300 flanges. What code are you building to. I would suggest ASME/ANSI B31 for petrochemcial work. That standard contains a chart to tell exactly what the ratings are for each situation.
Q:ya know the really cute hairstyle with the little bump on the top of the head. yeah, il love that but i SUCK at it. like EVERYtime i try to do it, i screw up and it comes out ugly and even. i just need somebody to direct me to a web site or to give me diredctions themselves on how to do it. please help me!
I'm an Independent so I am my usual group and I personally never have and never will own a gun. I think there are other ways for a person to secure their home than a firearm. Dogs make wonderful family pets and the right breed will be very protective of your home and much more alert and aware than a gun could ever hope to be. With that said, as long as it is in our constitution(and in my opinion does not mean today what the founding fathers meant) I support the right of any American who chooses to own a gun. So I guess I support the rights of gun owners although I disagree with how so many of them end up being used, to kill others.
Q:I am going to construct out of wood, an exact model of the concrete pier caps I will use to top some brick columns I am constructing (as I replace old chain link fencing). I want to make a precast mold of this wooden model so that I can use mold to duplicate/ pour the concrete pier caps. What kind of resin material do I need to create a mold of the wooden model? It would be ideal if the mold would be slick and shiny, so the cured concrete can easily come loose from the mold. I have to use the mold 10 times.Do I need liquid fiberglass or hot plastic or what? I've never done anything like this before, so I am clueless. Here is a link to the type of pier cap I will first build out of wood. See pier cap 1:
This Site Might Help You. RE: Does anyone else think Chris Benoit is innocent?/? I watched a video on YouTube and it said that said there was beer cans next to his body, but there was no alcohol found in his system. There were bibles laying next to his body, his wives and sons body, but Benoit was known as a god-fearing man. He was taking to Chavo Guerrero on the phone when
Q:I'm out there running the weedeater, with safety goggles and earplugs so I don't go deaf, and while doing the sidewalk, this young woman jogging and pushing her baby in a stroller runs RIGHT BY me (2 feet!).Dust, grass and a few pebbles are flying everywhere! Now, aside from the fact that she is an idiot, what are my (and her) legal rights? If she or her baby were injured, would that be my responsibility (New Jersey) ? I suppose, given the litigious nature of the US (and NJ), that I am probably responsible, but wondered if anyone knew for sure. Thanks
Use the regular copper threaded fitting. Most homes are connected to the water meter with 3/4 fittings. Water meters are usually made from lead-free bronze alloy - so copper will be fine.
Q:Will that be all right? Then there's the PPR pipe joint on the right. Is that ok?
You don't see this picture very clearly. You mean there's a lot of right side connections, right?
Q:I own a 2001 Toyota Corolla with manual locks and windows, and I was wondering if it was possible to install power windows and locks and keyless entry, and if so, how much it would probably cost.
It's totally depends on the amount of fixtures and connectors you need. Every job is different and the amount of material as well. You never stated who is doing the job. If you are doing it, you must have the proper skills and tools to complete it. On the event that you are doing it, just measure and buy enough connector fittings and pipes to complete the job. If you are missing something, just go back to Lowe's or Home Depot and keep buying as needed. The store will take back any unused material and give you credit for. If you do not have neither tools or skills to do it yourself, then you must call one of those money hungry plumbers in town to do it for you! Good luck!
Q:Poll: Have you ever worn a pair of safety goggles and laughed when you looked at yourself in a mirror?
I am a fairly good 'home-defense' plumber and have redone both the supply and drain plumbing in two bathrooms in our present house - all code-compliant and properly inspected. The supply-side, using Pex shark-fittings from a good copper riser took me about 4 hours to do to have it make sense and getting valves where they should be and with good access. The drain side, using a hubless fitting to a good main riser then transitioning to PVC took an additional 4 hours, not including access, repair and clean-up. My plumber would have charged me $1,500 for the lot + supplies (he provided the inspection and checked my work) but I still would have had to do the repairs and clean-up. Given that I paid just over $300 for the supplies (shark fittings are not cheap), and with his mark-up, I am guessing about $2,000 would have covered that work. After access (most of the real work) the actual plumbing was remarkably simple and all with plenty of good clearance. The only tricky part was using the chain-breaker to insert the new Y-fitting into the main riser. Your mileage may vary.
Q:The hydraulic pipe fittings how to distinguish the British, American, metric!
Also known as the metric metric tube thread pipe thread, 6810 diameter (pitch diameter of 12141618202224 (1); 1.5; 2730333639424548525660 (pitch) diameter pitch 2), divided into cylindrical and tapered pipe thread pipe thread, with the way into the column, cone and cone, cone two.
Q:I'm in an apartment, and have been having trouble with my toilet fill valve. I had a leak into the tank which necessitated me turning off the toilet valve several times, and I guess that loosened the nut on that valve a bit, because I got drips coming out of that valve onto the floor. Instead of calling maintenance, I decided to try and fix it myself, and took a wrench to the nut on the toilet valve. I turned it and stopped the leak, but I also turned the toilet valve about a centimeter to the right, meaning that it pivoted about a centimeter clockwise in relation to the wall. I have no outward signs of a leak inside the wall, nor can I hear any leakage, but I'm just concerned that I may have damaged the piping in the wall somehow, and that it might be dripping or leaking without me knowing it. How is the piping usually set up inside the wall for a toilet valve?
Why does everyone keep forgetting that the college football season is now 12 games? As for the 'Cocks, their non-conference schedule outside of Clemson, like every other SEC school, is a joke (Wofford, Florida Atlantic, Middle Tennessee), so all of those are wins. They go to Clemson, and that's always a war. In conference, they avoid Alabama, LSU, and Ole Miss. They have possibly the easiest road schedule in conference possible, going to Mississippi State, Kentucky, Vandy, and Florida (well, Florida's a loss, but the other three should be easy wins). Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, and Arkansas come to Columbia. I'm going to say 9-3, with losses at Clemson, at Florida, and at home to either Georgia or Auburn.
Q:i just bought this suv and i new there were a few things that needed to be fixed. But i cant figure out why the power locks wont work right on the back passenger door and the back hatch they work fine but on both front doors you have to unlock them by hand and the back drivers side wont unlock at all dose anyone have any ideas on how i can figure out what the problem is?? your help is greatly appreciated
The proper way to connect would be to use schedule 80 pipe and fittings, with blue or hot glue. When using threaded joints, Teflon tape is OK, but I also use a pipe joint compound( pipe dope). This will ensure that there are no leaks. You should also install a union somewhere close to this joint, that way, you can access into the pipe system, if you need to! Good luck to you!
