Q:I had the rug from work about a year ago so its pretty old but every time i go to hoover its got a large amount of white powder under it! i have no idea what it is at first i had the gross idea that it was bits of skin but there is no way that much could accumilate in such a short timewhat is it and can i get rid of it: You said the rug was old. It could be the rug itself degrading, especially the material the fibers are woven into or if it has a latex backing, the latex itself. Also it could be years of dirt hoovering hasn't been able to remove filtering down and out thru the bottom.

Q:I have a rug that goes back in history a long time, my family bought it in an auction for 17 million dollars. It s infused with gold and diamonds and many more valuable stones.We are looking to sell it. So where would be a good place to offer it. Providing i have a certificate for it and all the details. Then ask your vet for allergy pills for her....your parents should not have to remove their carpet, there are other solutions, and you could keep her in another room, but that would be said to shut her up alone.. but, when you all are gone, put her in your bedroom, so she won't be on the rug...this will help. good luck

Q:The water that I am dumping out is beyond filthy. Is all of that dirty water really coming from the dirt in my carpet? I shampoo the carpets about every 6 months, and we don't even wear shoes in the house.: ABSOLUTELY!!! I bought my own, the water is just as dirty! We vacuum. But we usually only clean the surface. My mom had a vacuum that had lights on it that told when the area you were going over was clean. She had dogs, high traffic. I don't know if that light ever went out. Most people vacuum the surface, the shampooer goes to the bottom where most of the dirt and sand goes.

Q:anyone know the difference between the two? any info would be great thanks!: Bathroom rugs are fuzzy and a lot of them have that rubber looking stuff on the back of them. Kitchen rugs usually have pictures of fruit and kitchen items on them and are not fuzzy looking.
