Q:Capitalism has failed, not because it failed to produce progress or productivity, but because it has done more damage to the ecosystem in the last 100 years than any previous system has done in the past 1 million years. We cannot have free markets as long as free means the freedom to exploit the eArth for ones individual gain. We can not expect a resource based economy to have unlimited growth when resources are finite. I suggest that the prosperity of the last few hundred years is only temporary and not reflective of our past and will not be realistic in the future. We cannot live outside the laws of biology, it will be a big mistake that might jeopardize our species. We must live in in a symbiotic relationship with the planet and that's a fact. Think.
It's better than nothing, but you might want to invest in a paintball mask or something else because you will still feel the bbs through that.
Q:my work blocked myspace!! how do i get on
Seefor video of Mythbuster episode on this. The seam at the bottom of the tank are the weak point.

Q:Today I just bought these two budgies for my best friend for Christmas. She knows I'm getting her budgies. I was just thinking she usually asks me for name ideas and stuff so I was thinking do any of you guys have any ideas? This one:
My experience both as employer and employee is that employers have a great incentive to keep people. Even in what are considered unskilled jobs having somebody who knows the requirements of the job is a valuable asset. I owned a janitorial service for many years. There were broom pushers and there were professional janitors. Broom pushers had a higher turn over rate. Many were just getting into the job market. Some I had to let go because they were not conscientious. If someone is willing to pay for a job, it is a valuable job. I never had incentive to fire a professional janitor. Just the opposite. I invested time and money teaching them various health codes, sanitation requirements of our customers. You might not think about it the floor wax used in a medical office is different than what is used for a clothing store. So I disagree with your premise. Employers want to keep employees. If somebody gets fired there is a reason. Might not be the employees fault but no employer wants to lose employees. If nothing else more workers means that you have the business to require more workers. That usually means more profit. So basic greed motivates employers to keep people. Edit: How did I de-humanize anybody. They were hired as broom pushers. They generally thought that being a janitor was not good enough for them They were hired for a job, did not want to be trained as professionals and expected to lose their job when the employer did not have enough work for them. The employer (me) was going to try to keep the people who did learn the trade. Therefore becoming more valuable both to the employer who had invested in them and themselves.
Q:I accidently hit the lock button when i got out and locked my 6 month inthe cari have a 1998 GMC Jimmy. My husband immediatly pryed open the back hatch and the thing that keeps the hatch window shut is broken. I have to use a bungee cord to keep it closed. Does anyone know the name of the part or better yet where i can find it??
Dude you dont gotta waste so much money. I bought a fishing rod for $80 and didnt have much fun as with 20-40 dollar ones. Ive used eagle claw and Shakespeare. Both are pretty good. I fish for many years man.. for a catfish get a hook size of a nickel and tie a chicken liver on it and drop it no more then 18 inches on a bobber. REMEMBER, FISH RIGHT BEFORE SUNRISE AND RIGHT AFTER SUNSET IS THE BEST.
Q:I'm making a door alarm, what MUST it have?I already have; low cost, easy to use, brightly colored/visible, not too small or big (to act as a deterrent)can you suggest some more please?

Q:I am wondering what everyone prefers. I am new to working with all of this. I want to be able to do collage pendants. I have done some research so I kind of know what I can and can't use with the different products. Like obviously nothing plastic with the Amazing Glaze because it will melt. But it says with the Amazing Glaze it will be slightly yellow after drying. How bad is it? I am using antique gold and copper plated pewter pendants. So a little yellowing would be ok, but I don't want anything to look dirty. Ice resin is nice but VERY expensive. A little advice would be fantastic!! Thanks everyone!
well i'm the person that gave star hawk the idea to ask this question because this week end i'm at a convention in santa clara california and about 11:10 pm saturday night some a++hole pulled the fire alarm and a station from the santa clara fire department responded and the hotel had to be evacuated for a hour and the alarm was reset ,then a short was found in the system and traced back to a women's restroom and that had to be fixed so the fire crew was here for about two total hours to make sure the sensors were replaced and fully operative and every one was let back into the hotel and as of 3:45 am monday may 31st 2010 the person who set off the first alarm has not yet been found .
Q:I want to run an electric blanket in my shed during the winter to keep the outdoor cats warm. Would this be a fire hazard?
I think she's just asking for it.
Q:My hair goes to my shoulders and is very thin and is therefore very hard to curl. I was thinking rollers, but the sponge ones won't work. Should I try the Velcro ones and are they hard to use? Is there anything else I can do?
More space than this website has available for one answer! You must do your own research on this. Buy a copy of the relevant standards for yourself!
