Q:My ceramics teacher taught us how to make slip by using dry clay + water, but atm i don‘t have dry clay . so i was wondering if anyone knows how to make slip another way? or an easy way to dry out clay quickly :) I don‘t know what kind of clay i‘m using (I‘m a newbie) but it seems standard clay: As I learned, the key to making clay slip that works is just enough water to allow stirring it then add small amount of deflocculant like water glass (sodium silicate) or even salt, which makes the clay flow like it had a lot more water in it but the plaster does not have to put all that water out. You can start with wet clay as well as the dry powder or you can even use the sludge in your clean scrap bucket - just pour off the extra water before digging the heavier stuff out.

It wasn't till the brakes were hot that the ceramic brakes began to stop quicker. they then did a test of fluxing braking from 60-30 on an oval track and for the first 13 minutes the metal brakes reduced speed from 60 mph at the red markers to 30 mph in a shorter distance. When the ceramic brakes finally did catch up they did not stop faster just equally because this test did not build enough friction/heat. Most OEM brake pads are metal composite. I know this because I work for a parts supplier.

Q:Why dont they crush down to littel peices and then too dust unwanted concrete and re sell it in bags ready to be used again by just adding water ?The same thing with ceramics , someone told me they dont do it with ceramics becuase it causes a disease called silicoses or something like that .please excuse the sorry spelling .: you can take it out to put in extensions or cut the shaft shorter. my stick is right where i want it so what i do is put weight in there. if i know who i'm palying has strong defense i lighten it up for quiker moves. if you have trouble getting deep into the zone drop a handful of fishing sinkers in there whick gives you a heavier and faster shot.

Q:Why is my non stick ceramic pan very sticky?: DE isn't for worms, it's to control breeding fly and other insect populations in manure. To get him to accept a paste wormer, try giving him a bit of apple sauce out of a syringe every now and then. This has worked extraordinarily well for me. All I have to do is uncap the wormer and the horses take it themselves, no stress, no worry, no effort. ETA: I've always seen it in fly products, never in a wormer. Weird. They didn't take longer than metallic ones would have and they were less noticeable. I never had a bracket break. The brackets themselves will not stain, but clear ties around the brackets will, so I recommend that you get silver ties around the ceramic brackets.
