- you must have gotten it wet somehow. or, if it gets pressed too much or if something got caught in there, it'll stay in that position as if its being pressed. just buy a new one. i have an 'after glow' one for 30 dollars at walmart. or if you're too cheap: (i dont advise this AT ALL) but you can take out that button carefully make it where-as you have to literally touch the machinery button in the controller. [be careful if you do cuz if you mess up, you're SCREWED)

- In order to increase your strength and size you need to consume enough calories and protein, if you don't eat enough food you will not get stronger or bigger. With that out of the way here is a great program to increase your 1 rep max and thus increasing your strength. First you need to figure out your max, get a spotter and find this out, I would assume somewhere around 200 pounds. The first week you will lift 50% of your 1 rep max 5 sets of 8. The second week will be 60% 5 sets of 8 The third week will be 70% 5 sets of 8 The forth week is 80% Fifth week is 90% Sixth week you max again and add about 10-20 pounds onto the bar. - Q:I'm a 17 year old girl, I weigh about 160 lbs (5'10''), as of 3 years ago I was leg pressing 250 lbs. But since then I have had ACL surgery (hamstring graft), I now only press 160 lbs. I am an athlete, I do MMA and I am a competitive black belt in Tae Kwon Do. How much should I ideally be pressing?
- Not considering your injury as a fighter you shouldn't be trying to go too high and get muscle bound legs. If you can press 700 you might have a tree-trunk of a leg and it will be rooted to the floor like one. You want fast twitch in the smaller muscles to be able to have control over your legs for both kicking and supporting yourself. I don't think leg press is the best option either. It isolates the quads for aesthetic purposes. You'll look nice but you won't have the full cascade of muscles to have a great kick and you can end up imbalanced real quick too. You want to find more integrative movements that let you use you whole body or at least your whole leg cascade. As for the surgery, I can't speak much about it but I'd say listen to your doctor. If he says balls to the wall, go for it. But if he says you need to work in slowly or never go over a certain weight, listen to him. You might be able to kick the hell out of everyone but you're still a weak little child if you can't trust someone or take the advice of someone who inherently knows better.
- Q:if I do leg presses with about 185 lbs. will that make my legs skinnier or just gain muscle? If that will make me gain then how much should i lift to loose fat?.....thanks in advance!
- You would probably gain muscle, which helps you burn more calories throughout the day. Leg presses alone won't make you lose weight though. Weight lifting in general should be combined with cardio, anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes would do the trick. When you lose fat, you lose fat from all over your body. I usually do cardio first thing in the morning, before I have eaten anything because when you exercise, you first burn carbs and then you burn fat. So when you exercise on an empty stomach, you almost automatically go into fat burning mode, not to mention you burn more calories throughout the day. Hope this helps!
- Q:I am a 17 year old girl and I want toner and skinnier legs. If I do leg press will it thin up my legs?
- Basic exercise physiology.... Muscles only contract. Doing leg presses on a machine will work the big extensors only... The rectus femoris and associated muscles. It will do nothing for the hamstrings, the muscles that pull your lower leg up. Also, if you keep your foot flat on the lifting plate, nothing much for your calves. You can only thin up your legs by loosing fat generally. A lot of women tend to deposit fat on the thighs, which is a never-ending source of annoyance... The best thing for you to do is to concentrate on aerobic exercises like running or cycling, which are the most efficient at burning calories. Do some weight lifting as well, women especially need weight-bearing exercise to maintain bone health. But concentrate on aerobic work to loose excess fat. Don't neglect diet either; it's all working together.

- Google sample press release and you will be amazed at the number of websites offering excellent tips. One important tip: keep it very factual. No hype, or the editor will just toss your press release into the wastebasket. If you are going to make such a strong claim, be sure to back it up with facts. How many people have lost weight/inches this way, etc. I just wrote a news release for a terrific pet product that a well-known dog breeder had developed. She has the pedigree to make her claims believable, and a list of supportive testimonials as long as your arm. Good luck to you.

- In theory she can. She IS the Queen, after all, and thanks to the unwritten nature of the British Constitution, she can do anything that isn't specifically prohibited - and this isn't. But she never has done so - the fact that she had done so would be reported in the press and bring her even more bad publicity than just letting the story go ahead anyway. The British government occasionally issues DA Notices (Defence Advisory Notices) to the press requesting them not to report certain matters relating to national security. But even those are only requests, not gagging orders. It would just be wrong to make it a criminal offence to report these matters and the public outrage first steps towards a dictatorship and all that would be possibly even more damaging. Nevertheless the British press is basically responsible and always complies because it knows the damage that would result to itself and the country if it didn't. If nothing else, a press organisation or newspaper that didn't comply would quickly find itself disrespected, bankrupt and out of business. As with so many things British, so much is unwritten but we know how to play the game - and that's why so much remains unwritten. It doesn't need to be.

- Yes you should try to press charges. That is the simple answer. Its going to be harder at this point since you didn't report it right a way. A lot of the evidence that law enforcement would need will have gone. But I would still try. Who knows, he might have done it to someone else, more recently. And your testimony in her case or hers in yours can get this guy off the streets. From personal experience, guys that wont take no for an answer have done it in the past and will do it again.
- Q:Could i press a rose for a couple of weeks then put it in a glass picture frame?Will it keep?
- You know they have picture boxes because when you press one it doesn't look the way you want I have a lot of roses dried first in a dark place. so some of the color stays and when you put it up make sure the sun isn't hitting it it will fade.
