- Q:How do I contact John McCain's Press Secretary?
- You okorder
- Q:I'm looking for a pressed powder that lasts up to six hours at least six hours, doesn't dry out skin and has a good shade selection. I have medium dark skin. My budget is ?5 and I live in the UK. And I also have one more question. What is the difference between pressed powder and translucent powder? Please answer and I will reward 10 points for the best one myself. Thanks in advance.
- Rimmle Stay Matte Pressed Powder: Skin Colours and Translucent Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot: Just Translucent Are my two favourites from the drugstore. There is not real difference in translucent and pressed they are a different objective kinda, if you have a pressed powder it is compact, the opposite would be a loose powder like bare minerals. Translucent means thats you wont be getting extra coverage with some cheaper pressed powders though they say they are Translucent on darker skins they can some times come of a little chalky so I would go for the rimmle. Hope this helped and you look flawless :)
- Q:which is better for putting on top of your (liquid) foundation.. loose powder or pressed powder?
- I think Loose powder is great for use at home because it's messy and goes everywhere. Pressed Powder is great for travel and does a great job for touch ups.
- Q:can you give me a press releases list (free submission would be great)
- The key is to check if the press releases of that site is in Google News (there are free ones that have been banned by Google for posting fake press releases). If it is in Google News (search the name of the site) at least you know that your release will get out somehow as some don't have any distribution at all
- Q:I always buy cold pressed paper, and have to stretch it, but every time i do, it still turns out wrinkled. I wet it then tape it to my board and let it dry but Im not sure what i am doing wrong
- I okorder /... I have bought this paper and other supplies from both these art houses and have been very satisfied with both.
- Q:are there any sites like cafe press, that offer the free online store and everything, that's cheaper.I doubt it, but I just want to be sure.
- Try okorder / I used Cafe Press for T-shirts for 3 years. In August they had a hefty price increase for t-shirts printed on the front and back. I switched to Zazzle since then. They can print up to 14 inches wide artwork on t-shirts. Cafe Press only does 10 inches wide. Zazzle gives you 10% off if you submit your designs to the market place and another 10% off if you order 12 shirts at a time. I like Zazzle much better than Cafe Press.
- Q:just got a drill press for my woodshop. its a table top model. would love an easy build plan for a drill press fence thanks ahead of time.
- Doing nothing because the pay off is down the road is childish thinking. 10 yrs ago the Democrats had a chance to fix the oil problem but did nothing because the payoff was 10 yrs down the road. Well guess what we are now 10 years down the road and see where we are at. Too many people have a What have you done for me now attitude Being able to delay gratification is a characteristic of a mature mind set.
- Q:if the recipe calls for a cookie press, and i dont have one, do i have to have it in order to still make the cookies?what does it do? please answer both
- no you don't it is only for looks. you can shape the dough in balls and press them either with a fork or a flat bottomed glass dipped in sugar so it does not stick.
- Q:im writing a paper about gutenberg and the printing press, and how it affects Europe during the renaissance, and im stuck.so how did the printing press affect Europe during the renaissancesomeone help me please and thankyou=]
- One large effect which you should include in your paper is the ability of the printing press to distribute the ideas of European church reformer Martin Luther after 1517. This was the Protestant Reformation fueled by printed writings of Luther and others. Luther translated the bible into German so people (who could read German but not Latin) could read it for the first time. Of course many could not read their own language in the 1500's, but there was always someone in the community who would read printed materials to groups of people. Books had been rare and unobtainable by all but the very rich until the advent of the printing press. The press allowed the spread of many ideas - religious and political being chief among them. Print was the first mass media. News sheets, opinion pamphlets, and books became possible for the first time. I should add that the established Roman Catholic Church of the late 1400's and early 1500's would murder those who tried to distribute the bible in the languages of the people - - and the Church would murder them as painfully as possible to discourage the others. A case in point is William Tyndale who translated the bible into English, was arrested, tried for heresy, and burnt at the stake in 1536. The Church feared allowing people to read the bible for themselves because that threatened the well paid and privileged position of the clergy.
- Q:How do I know what direction to press my seams?
- Usually, the seams can be treated in several ways and sometimes it's hard to know which to use though often can be corrected later, but seams are pressed in one direction or the other for several main reasons: 1...so they'll easily fit with other seams when joining two areas where the seams will join or overlap (for example, a row of blocks sewed to a row of blocks will have two seams meeting at the corners of all the blocks...generally then all the seams will have been pressed to one side for one row, but pressed in the opposition direction for the other row so that when joined, the seams from each row will nestle nicely into the other row 2...so a darker colored fabric won't show up around the edges of a lighter one if the seams are pressed toward the dark fabric 3...sometimes also to leave more hand-quilting room since seams are usually too thick to quilt through by hand Some people these days tend to just press all seams open to avoid having to decide, and assume there'll be enough quilting on their quilt to prevent too much stress on any individual seam. And if piecing by hand, which some people still do, the seams aren't actually sewed over so that all options will still be open by the time that seam needs to be sewed to another seam area.
