- The press should be non-bias. The press presents all sides so you, the reader, can make a decision based on what you think is best.
- Q:I'm currently using the Prescriptives Flawless SkinTotal Protection and when I apply it in the morning it looks great on my skin once it dries, but 3 hours later my face looks very oily. I have never used powder over my foundation before. I wanted to make my skin look natural when wearing foundation, so thats why I was afraid to use the powder plus foundation. Should I use the Prescriptives pressed powder or the loose powder to help control the shiny look?
- loose is good to apply directly after foundation to help mattify...it provides light coverage when applied with a brush. pressed is great to carry with you for easy touch ups.
- Q:Hi I need a drill press that can handle like three inches of steel or at least one. I have no experience using a drill press. So If you can teach me how to use one that would be great. Also can you direct me to a link to where I can a drill press online and where to buy the bits for steel.
- If you are serious about wanting a good drill press then you wouldn't be shopping at Harbor Freight Tools. Their tools are alright but they wouldn't last very long and I sure wouldn't expect them to be precise. Real good drill presses are made by Porter Cable or Rigid Tools. Those are high quality precise drill presses that are made to last a lifetime. But for just small jobs to do at home every now and then, I guess the Harbor Freight would do. I just wouldn't buy one, but I was brought up to purchase only high quality tools made in America and not imports.
- Q:I can't lift the bar without it leaning a bit to the left or right and my repetitions are pathetic. I'm almost 15, 110 lb and I started lifting last month. I had a trainer and he told me to just do dumbbell presses. I'm doing 15s on the dumbbells but it's embarassing because most of my friends brag about benching their bodyweight. My trainer recommended that I should do 15 reps comfortably with the 45lb bar before putting weights on. Will I ever be able to bench my bodyweight? when my current dumbbell press doesn't even level with how much the bar weighs?

- Q:in gym i am able to do a flat bench press of up to 40-45kg.....20-25kg feels like nothing.....but i am not able to do push ups ...maximum i have done in my life is 20 pushups on some lucky day...if i am doing 5 pushups rather 2 push up they does not feel effortless ....my first push up will feel like i am doing 100th....why is it so.....?i read some where that it is because of unbalanced training ...but on Wikipedia i found that both exercise target almost same muscle group...can some one clarify???
- Yes, bench press and push ups do use the same muscles - chest, triceps, deltoids. In essence it is a very similar movement - pushing your arms away from yourself. It's hard to say why you aren't able to do push ups as well as bench press but nevertheless you can improve you srenght in push ups by doing them the easy way first. The easy way being - you in a push up position but your knees on the ground as this will make it a bit easier. I'd say complete as many reps as you can for 3-4 sets this should make you gradually stronger and you soon will be able to do more regular push ups.

- When you say press, i assume that you mean a press to handstand. Try it with a spot first, and then get the spot to be lighter and lighter. Or you can try doing them against the wall. Or try starting with your feet higher, like on a low beam or something. They will defiantly help with cast to handstands, because they use pretty much the same muscles and action. Good luck

- I work in sports TV and I've never heard that term. Do you mean press release? Media Guide? A press release is a fax/e-mail sent by the media relations department to the press. It's usually an announcement that they want the media to cover or it's a a generic statement if there's some sort of controversy. Most of the time, these releases are posted on team's websites. They're usually not that informative. A media guide is a book with stats, rosters, bios, and any other information that will make the media's job a little easier. Again, most teams are posting these on their website and anyone can access them. They're not all that interesting unless you're a stats junky.

- You can use tissues or sheets of tissue paper, as well. There are two ways of doing it, either inside the pages of the book, or between two heavy books. Either way, put tissue down under the flower, and above the flower as well. Don't try to do a group of flowers together, as they get all tangled, and it will look better if you do them separately. It's important that you lay the flower down carefully, because once it gets shaped, you cannot go back and shape it again. I suggest bending the stem right where it meets the blossom so that the blossom can lie pretty much flat. Simply lay down a layer of tissue, then your carefully shaped flower, then another layer of tissue. It doesn't matter if you do it inside a book, or between two books, but you need to stack other books or a heavy weight over the top so that flower actually gets pressed. The amount of time it takes for it to press varies by flower, and they aren't usually considered pressed until a lot of the moisture has dissipated from the flower. I would leave them in your makeshift press for at least a month before checking on them. Take a look at the end of a month, and if it isn't pressed really well, don't pick it up, just put the weight back on top. You will know when it is properly pressed because it will hold it's shape, and you will be able to handle it without ruining the shape. Good luck.
